Case: MURDER

I. Introduction

On January 18, 2020 at about 8:15 PM, at PurokKadena De Amor, Sitio Marisa, Barangay

Poblacion, Zaragosa, Zamboanga Del Sur, one Jose Jaro, 30 years old, married, was shot to death

by unidentified suspect wearing black jacket, black helmet, using a red XRM motorcycle, black

hand gloves and black pants, using undetermined caliber of the firearm, eight (8) times and two

(2) times shot was hit the victim in the forehead, then suspect fled to unknown direction

II. Narrative Report

Investigation conducted by Zamboanga City Police Station 4 (Culianan District) there was a

woman who had heard two (8) gunshots and abruptly reported to the police then, the police went

immediately in the crime scene but could not find the suspect then the police called the soco to

investigate the victim. Disclosed that the victim was on his way to his residence coming from the

mentioned school and upon reaching at the vicinity of his house unidentified suspects shot him in

the head and different parts of the body that caused his instantaneous death and immediately

escaped using a motorcycle XRM color red as their getaway vehicle, while the suspect was fled

to unknown direction.

Victim sustained gunshot wounds on the head that caused his death while his cadaver now lies at

St. Peter funeral homes for post mortem examination. Zamboanga City Police Station is still

working on the case.

III. Synopsis/ Findings

Based on the investigation, there were four bullet shells found in the crime scene and there was

no other evidence found.

IV. Facts of Evidences

 Based on the testimony of one of the witnesses, the victim was treacherously shot by the

perpetrator in the head first and then followed by three shots in the body and immediately the

perpetrator escaped using a motor vehicle.

V. Medico Legal

According to the medico legal officer, Jose Jaro suffered a gunshot wound, point of entry, middle

of the forehead and point of exit at the back of the head which caused the immediate death of the

victim. Further, three gunshot wound was discovered on the abdomen and without point of exit.

VI. Recommendation

Shooting incident is rampant in our country, the government should invest more on cctv cameras

in every places so that it can help the law enforcement authorities in solving a crime. Lastly, the

police presence in the area especially in the dark areas of a place should be increase in order to

respond instantly in case of any unwanted incident will happen.
