Responsible for the management of the ETL process flows and coordination with th
e staff developing/supporting production OLTP systems. Requires systems analysi
s, strong ETL skills, SQL optimization skills and database/ETL performance and t
uning. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specification a
nd technical code documentation. Requires excellent verbal and written communic
ation skills to interact with business and IT personnel.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• minimum of five (5) years experience leading a team of ETL developers
• working ETL-ELT experience using Oracle Data Integrator, PL/SQL
• experience designing and developing the processes, procedures and standards in s
upport of ETL functionality
• experience working between different platforms and databases (mainframe, client/
server, midrange, Informix and Oracle)
• strong communication skills (oral and written)
• strong problem solving skills
• experience working with a production team to schedule ETL jobs
• experience working with UNIX and UNIX Scripting (i.e., Korn Shell)
• experience creating test plans and support in executing test plans
• experience creating and maintaining the full lifecycle of ETL(mappings/processes
/flows)
• experience with SQL query techniques and tuning SQL in an Oracle environment
• experience participating in full software development lifecycle projects
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
