The ACE/Nikaido fellowships provide stipends of up to $5,000 to awarded students,

depending on the proposed course of study. The award may be used for research, travel,
Japanese language training or Japanese area studies. Applications are open to USC
graduates students from all disciplines and to both domestic and international students.

ACE/Nikaido fellowship applicants must meet the following requirements:

 Applicants must be full-time USC graduate students.

 Applicants must be engaged in the research and study of Japan or U.S.-Japan

relations.
