We always hear that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but really, do we
give it the importance it deserves? We invite you to dispel your doubts as you join us in
this reading. It is considered that the type of breakfast that a person makes will depend
on the type of day they have, their mood and performance. In this sense, it is always
recommended to have breakfast and never skip this meal, in addition to consuming a
little type of infusion with some combination of foods that can be proteins, fruits,
cereals, dairy products. Breakfast is important for everyone, since the body does not last
in optimal conditions for more than 12 hours without receiving any type of food. The
correct breakfast offers important benefits such as: the improvement of the cognitive
performance, the control of our weight and the prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
Reason 2 for considering the importance of a healthy breakfast is control of our weight.
A balanced breakfast has been shown to promote a healthy weight. To this must be
added a fixed schedule to eat food. Several nutritionists mention that you can lose
weight by eating properly. In addition, they consider it detrimental to stop eating
because our body needs energy to function. By having a fixed schedule our body gets
used to and metabolizes faster in such a way that insufficient fat is not generated. In
addition, science shows that fiber, fruit and skim milk cereals help maintain a healthier
Body Mass Index (BMI). For this reason, having the right weight depends largely on a
balanced breakfast.
To finish, with all these data we can realize the importance of a healthy breakfast in all
of us and the advantages that we get from it. Staying without eating any food for more
than 12 hours is detrimental emotionally and functionally and in periods. When
maintaining a balanced breakfast we will obtain encouraging results such as the
improvement in cognitive performance that will be reflected in the grades of a student
or in the performance of a worker. The control of the weight that manifests itself with
more energy to carry out the activities and especially the reduction of the risks of
cardiovascular diseases that can leave irreversible consequences.
