many people to Gospel as Who knew a bird could delay my return to South Africa by 2 days? I learned that
possible it could and returned to Durban on the 13th of January. Three days later we hit
the ground rolling. Our team packed up and headed south for our staff retreat.
Feb. 14 First weekly meeting. Topic: Being there was a great time to connect with one another, and clear our minds in
who was your first love (I order to focus on effectively reaching the students here in Durban. We also took
some time on our retreat for fun stuff. I taught the new girls how to drive, and we
am speaking at Westville)

to a famous waffle house down south. We had a great time, as we began to

Feb. 21 First day launching a the students at Westville and Howard with a vision to reach specific target areas,
movement on another new places where God has already placed them. The vision is to see our students
campus (Pietermaritzburg) sharing the Gospel with those who are naturally around them, a lesson which can
be carried into each of their future places of work.
The day after we set a plan, our National Campus Director and the Port Elizabeth
STINT team joined us in Durban to discuss National vision. We loved our time
with the other team and found it easy to be as much of a family with them as we
were becoming already. I also loved having the team here because a friend of mine
from California, Franckie, is on the team. We had a blast showing them around
Durban, but this time also rocked our world and turned our plans upside down!
HISTORY!!!!!!!
Shortly after my return I was able to find time to go visit History! I love this little boy so
much. We arrived and he ran to the car, and then to me giving me a big hug. I gave him the
new Gator clothes I brought for him and he desired to put them on right away! We played
for a little while and then said goodbye. I can’t wait to see more of him this year! He is
growing so fast!
