Map Size and Aspect Ratio
Our GIANT maps are individually sized and custom
printed to fit your space. There are, however, some
technical limitations that affect final size:
1. The maximum width that we can print is 98".
2. The maximum width that we can laminate is 70".
3. Most of our World and USA maps are in a 3:2
aspect ratio (more wide than tall). We can make
some adjustments to modify these proportions
to fit your needs, however, for bet results, first
measure your space, and then give us a call.
Color Palette
We can produce GIANT maps using different color
palettes. The majority of the samples shown use
a “Brilliant” palette. We can also use “Subdued,”
“Pastel,” “Earth” or custom color palettes.

Materials Options (Substrate)
Vinyl
Our first choice is an ultra high quality, smooth
surface, scrim vinyl. It is dimensionally stable,
washable (non-solvent), takes ink very well and
has a certain brilliancy to the final image.
However, writing on the material is permanent.
You cannot use a dry-erase pen and remove the
writing. Maximum width is 98".
Laminated Paper
Lamination (5-mil/5-mil encapsulation) is very
durable. Also, certain gloss finishes allow you to
use dry erase markets. Gloss lamination, however,
is reflective and will show glare from reflected
light. Also, the material can crease if not handled
properly. Maximum width is 70".

Hanging Banner Rail
Banner rails are aluminum extrusions (0.75" wide
by 1.125" tall) that run the length of the top
and/or bottom of a GIANT Map. To assemble, a
thin plastic sleeve is placed over the top edge of
the map, which is then slid into a groove running
the length of the banner rail. Brackets hold the
banner rail to the wall. This is an elegant, easy to
mount and reasonably priced solution. Banner
rails come in brushed aluminum or matte black.
Price is $9.00 per foot for each banner rail.
Magnetic Maps
Magnetic maps have many applications in
business, government and education. In addition
to producing a magnetic receptive map, we can
produce full-color flexible magnets in a variety of
custom shapes and sizes.
We can produce magnetic maps in two ways:
1) Printing on magnetic receptive vinyl (maximum
width is 39", with multiple widths possible), and
2) On vinyl or laminated paper with a magnetic
