The Original On Duty, Off Duty Pants

Until TRU-SPEC® introduced our 24-7 pants a few years
ago, tactical pants were little more than single function
duty pants with features inspired by the tactical uniform
trousers worn by SWAT teams. 24-7 pants by TRU-SPEC®
still boast plenty of big, roomy pockets and the legs, seat
and crotch are cut for unrestricted movement, but now
they include a couple of new elements those early tactical
pants didn’t (and still don’t) have: STYLE and COMFORT.
First, 24-7 pants begin with the unique 24-7 pocket design
and trim, a custom tailored look that makes the 24-7 as
welcome of a guest at a social function as they are a
welcome participant on stakeout or on patrol. And all
pockets and other features are completely symmetrical,
so they’re fully functional for either right handed or left
handed users.
Second, the unmatched comfort of 24-7 pants is ensured
by the unique comfort fit slider waistband which
eliminates bunching and gathering so often seen in
adjustable side tabs. In addition, TRU-SPEC®’s exclusive
“Engineered Dimensional Fit” simply means that the
length of the rise increases in proportion to the length of
the inseam which results in a nearly perfect fit for almost
every body type and in any situation.

In addition to the naturally fire resistant characteristics
of Nomex®, a special fire resistant chemical treatment
locks the flame resistant properties into the cotton.
Fabrics were tested with over 100 washings and
showed no loss in fire resistant properties with a char
length of 2.0" to 2.5".
INCREASED COMFORT
The 80% cotton fabric provides the feel and comfort
of 100% cotton garment on both sides of the fabric.
INTERLOCK™ is lightweight, cool, breathable, and
comfortable enough to wear all day.
WEARABILITY
The 80% cotton/20% Nomex® blend possesses
superior color retention and durability. The fabric
does not lose its inherent thermal protection and in
independent tests, it has demonstrated a better
overall shrinkage rate than other fire resistant fabrics.
REDUCED COST
The special cotton/Nomex® blend ensures an average
savings of 20% to 30% compared to other fire
