THE TOWER OF BABEL
(THE BEAST THAT WAS)

This place was what we would call a university town—a learning center. (There was a city there). It
appeared that a dedication ceremony was in progress. Crowds were there by the thousands at the
base of the tower which was cone-shaped and there was a spiral road leading up to the top. It was as
tall as the mountains around it.

The Lord came down and spoke (it was like thunder—as when Jesus was baptized). (John 12:29). In
a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, He translated them all over the earth. (He thought the animals
might have been translated along with them).

But God didn’t break up families. Whole families were taken together to make all the tribes of the
earth. This was done so instantaneous that they were not even aware that they went from here to
there. They were given a new language and made into another race instantly.

[This is why all cultures have a historical account of a flood in their past. “God thundereth
marvelously with His voice; great things doeth He, which we cannot comprehend”—Job 37:5].

They retained what they knew before they were translated. In the same instant, an earthquake
reduced the city and the tower to piles of rubble in seconds.

Then the Lord said, “The reason I did that was to keep them from building that civilization back
until I get the plan of redemption ready.” They were changed into all the different races in order to
keep them from coming back together again and forming world government. They had higher
learning until this happened. Higher learning ended.

This is when the dragon’s eighth head received his DEADLY WOUND so that he could not work
until our day. Whatever God did to him, He fixed him where he couldn’t function.

[Note: Had God not done that, the same situation would have arisen that was before the flood and it
would not have lasted this long. It staved off the one-world government and the mark of the beast
until our day.

 Deuteronomy 32:7-8 Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask your
father, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you. 8 When the Most High divided to
the nations their inheritance, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the people
according to the number of the children of Israel.
Acts 17:26 And has made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth,
and has determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
Romans 11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how
unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!

‘The plan of redemption ready’ is mentioned in 1 Pet.1:5.

1 Peter 1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith to salvation ready to be revealed in the
last time.

This is the beast “THAT WAS” at the tower of Babel, and “IS NOT” in John’s day, and “YET IS”
which is in our day. 

Revelation 17:8 The beast that you saw was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit,
and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written
in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not,
and yet is.
Revelation 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and
goes into perdition.

Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 The thing that has been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that
which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. 10 Is there anything whereof it may
be said, See, this is new? it has been already of old time, which was before us.

On Earth today, the personification of this dragon is the intellectual elite who are behind humanism,
atheism, evolution, and the one-world government.
