Aboriginal and Islander Catholic Council


(AICC)

The AICC is the official representative organisation in


the Catholic Church for Aboriginal and Islander
Catholic communities - across the state of Queensland,
and throughout the Diocese. The AICC has branches
in Dajarra, Mount Isa, Charters Towers, Palm Island
and Townsville city. Each branch has its own style of
operating and identifies needs appropriate to its own
area, but each works in unison on the overall aims and
goals of the AICC

Eco Connections
(An initiative of the Sisters of Saint Joseph,
Queensland.

The Eco Connections material is a unique educational


resource that connects ecology and spirituality. It is
available in a multi media pack. The pack contains
printed material, black line amsters and resource
sheets, a CD ROM with Power Point Presentations.
This resource is written for 3 groups: Adult, Youth and
Children.

Prayer Patterns – a website offering Catholic


Schools and Parishes resources to enhance their prayer
and liturgical life within their faith communities.

The Prayer Patterns team offer a variety of prayers,


liturgies and PowerPoint presentations that have been
developed to assist with the Vatican II call to ‘full,
conscious and active participation’ when we gather
together, proclaim the Word, and at times, break the
Bread.
