Urdu shall be compulsory for all the teaching posts. The candidates must have studied Urdu as a
subject at SSC/+2 or graduation level. However, in case of non- availability of Urdu knowing SC/ST
candidates, as per University mandate the candidates selected against the posts reserved for SC/ST have to
clear any certificate course in Urdu from any recognized Institution within the prescribed period. Those
candidates who have come through 10+2+3 stream with Master’s degree will be given preference.

In case NET qualified candidates are not available, University may also invite candidates without
NET qualification based on their experience and publications, etc., for appointment as Asst. Professors,
subject to clearance by the UGC.

Note: The candidates who have already applied for the posts at Sl.Nos.5, 7, 8; 18, 25, 26, 29; 41, 44, 47,
48, 49, 50 and 57 in response to the Employment Notification No. 23/2008 dated 3rd August 2008 &
Addendum to Employment Notification No. 23/2008 dated 28th August 2008, shall have to apply afresh
duly indicating details of post applied or may enclose copy of acknowledgement receipt. However, they
are exempted from payment of registration fee.

Important Note:
1) Selected Candidates may be posted at Headquarters or any of the Institutions/Offices of the
University in the country.
2) Qualifications, experience, etc., will be applicable as notified in this notification only. This will
supersede the qualifications, experience, etc., as notified in the previous notifications.

DETAILS OF ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE, ETC.

PROFESSOR: Urdu, English, Arabic, Persian, Women Education and Mass


Communication & Journalism

A. (i) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant


discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with
evidence of published work with minimum of 10 publications as books and/or
research/policy papers.

(ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college, and/or


experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries,
including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.

(iii) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and course, and
technology – mediated teaching process.

(iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based
on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS)

OR
B. An outstanding professional, with established reputation in the relevant field, who
has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/ allied/
relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.

For the post of Professor in Women Education: Master’s degree in Arts/Humanities/Social
Sciences is essential. Preference will be given to the candidates with P.G. in women
education/studies or having specialization in the area in women studies at P.G. level

PROFESSOR: Education

(i) A Master's Degree in Arts/Humanities/Science/commerce and M.Ed. each with a


minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading is
followed);
OR
M.A. (Education with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever
grading is followed) and B.Ed. each with a minimum or 55% marks (or an equivalent
grade in a point scale wherever grading is followed);

(ii) Ph.D. in Education ; and

(iii) At least ten years of teaching experience in University department of education or


College of Education of which a minimum of five years at the M.Ed. level with
published work in the area of his specialization.

PROFESSOR: Distance Education

A. (i) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in Arts/Commerce/Sciences/Social


Sciences with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with
evidence of published work with minimum of 10 publications as books and/or
research/policy papers.

(ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college, and/or


experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries,
including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.

(iii) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and course, and
technology – mediated teaching process.

(iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based
on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS)
OR
B. An outstanding professional, with established reputation in the relevant field, who
has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the
concerned/allied/relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.

Preferable: Preference will be given to the candidates who possess P.G. diploma in
distance education or having experience in distance mode education.

PROFESSOR: Business Management

(i) Consistently good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade
in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master's Degree in Business
Management/Administration/in a relevant discipline or consistently good academic
record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever
grading system is followed) in two year full time PGDM declared equivalent by
AIU/recognized by the AICTE/UGC;

OR
First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Account / Cost and work
Account / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory body.

(ii) Ph.D. or Fellow of Indian Institute of Management or of an Institute recognized by


AICTE and declared equivalent by the AIU.

(iii) A minimum of ten years experience of teaching/industry/research/professional out


of which five years must be at the level of Reader or equivalent excluding the period
spent for obtaining the research degree.
OR
(iv) In the event the candidates is from industry and the profession, the following shall
constitute as essential:

1. Consistently good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade
in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master's Degree in Business
Management/Administration/ in a relevant discipline or consistently good academic
record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever
grading system is followed) in two year full time PGDM declared equivalent by
AIU/recognized by the AICTE/UGC.
OR
First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Account / Cost and work
Account / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory body.

2. The candidate should have professional work experience which is significant and can
be recognized at National / International level as equivalent Ph.D and twelve years
management experience in industry/profession of which at least eight years should
be at least at a level comparable to that of Reader/Assistant Professor.

(v) Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered
desirable:

a) Teaching, research, and/or professional experience in a reputed organization;

b) Published work, such as research papers, patents filed/obtained, books and/or


technical reports;

c) Experience of guiding the project work/dissertation of PG/Research Students or


supervising R &D projects in industry;

d) Demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial


and/or professional activities; and

e) Capacity to undertake / lead sponsored R&D consultancy and related activities.

PROFESSOR-CUM-DIRECTOR: Centre for Urdu Language, Literature & Culture

A. (i) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant


discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with
evidence of published work with minimum of 10 publications as books and/or
research/policy papers.

(ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college, and/or


experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries,
including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.

(iii) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and course, and
technology – mediated teaching process.

(iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based
on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS).
OR
B. An outstanding professional, with established reputation in the relevant field, who
has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the
concerned/allied/relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.

Preference will be given to those candidates who possesses Diploma/Certificate course in


Museology/Ancient History/Art & Culture. Evidence of published work should be in Urdu in
the fields of Urdu Language and Literature/ Urdu Linguistics/History/Culture /Museology.

PROFESSOR-CUM-DIRECTOR: Residential Coaching Academy


(Tenure Based up to 30.09.2012)

A. (i) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant


discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with
evidence of published work with minimum of 10 years publications as books and/or
research/policy papers.

(ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college, and/or


experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries,
including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.

(iii) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and course, and
technology – mediated teaching process.

(iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based
on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS).

OR
B. An outstanding professional, with established reputation in the relevant field, who
has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the
concerned/allied/relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.

Preferable: Experience of atleast 5 years in Academic administration. Preferably in


University/Research Institutions/Reputed Academic teaching centres.

DIRECTOR: Physical Education

(i) Ph.D. in Physical Education.

(ii) Experience of at least ten years as University Deputy Director of Physical Education
or fifteen years as University Assistant DPEs / College (Selection grade).

(iii) Participation in at least two national/international seminars/conferences.

(iv) Consistently good appraisal reports.

(v) Evidence of organizing competitions and conducting coaching camps of at least two
week's duration.

(vi) Evidence of having produced good performance teams/athletes for competitions like
state/national/inter-university/combined university, etc.

NOTE: (a) Subject to the provisions of the UGC Regulations-2010, all candidates who are
required to undertake the physical fitness test shall be required to produce a medical
certificate certifying that he/she is medically fit before undertaking such tests.

(b) On production of such certificate mentioned (a) above, the candidates would be
required to undertake the physical fitness test in accordance with the following norms:

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:
Urdu, English, Arabic, Persian, Social Work, Public Administration, Information technology,
Mass Communication & Journalism, Geography (Distance Education) and Urdu (Distance
Education)

(i) Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant


disciplines.

(ii) A Master's Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale
wherever grading systems is followed) in relevant subject.

(iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an


academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University,
College or Accredited Research Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D.
research with evidence of published work and minimum of 5 publications as books
and/or research/policy papers.

(iv) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and
technology – mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided
doctoral candidates and research students.

(v) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based
Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS).

Specializations:
For the post of Associate Professor in English: Comparative Literature, Literary Theory.

For the post of Associate Professor in Social Work: (1) Industrial Social Work / Human
Resource Management / Labour Welfare / Corporate Social Responsibilities (2) Community
Work / Community Organization / Community Development.

Desirable:
For the post of Associate Professor in Mass Communication & Journalism: A Master’s
Degree in Computer Graphics/Visual Communication or P.G. Diploma in Computer
Graphics and Animation or equivalent qualification from a University/recognized Research
Institute.

For the post of Associate Professor in Urdu and Geography (Distance Education):
Preference will be given to the candidates who possess P.G. diploma in distance education
or having experience in distance mode education.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: Translation (Tenure based, up to 31.03.2012)

(i) A Master's Degree with at least 55% marks in Arts/Humanities/Social Sciences and
Sciences (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading systems is followed)
with Ph.D. Degree in the concerned disciplines.

(ii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an


academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University,
College or Accredited Research Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D.
research with evidence of published work and minimum of 5 publications as books
and/or research/policy papers.

(iii) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and
technology – mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided
doctoral candidates and research students.

(iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based
Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS).

(v) Experience in Translation from English to Urdu and vice versa is essential.

Preference will be given to the candidates who possess P.G. degree in Translation studies or
equivalent qualification in translation techniques and having evidence of multilingual
translation.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: Education

(i) A Master's Degree in Arts/Humanities/Science/Commerce and M.Ed. each with a


minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading
systems is followed);
OR
M.A. (Education) and B.Ed. each with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade
in a point scale wherever grading systems is followed);

(ii) Ph.D. in Education; and

(iii) At least eight years of teaching experience in University department of education or


College of Education, with a minimum of three years at the M.Ed. level and has
published work in the relevant area of specialization.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: Business Management (Distance Education) and
Business Management (Campus Education)

1. (i) Consistently good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade
in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master's Degree in Business
Management/Administration/in a relevant discipline or consistently good academic
record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever
grading system is followed) in two year full time PGDM declared equivalent by
AIU/ recognized by the AICTE/UGC;
OR
First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost and
Works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory body.

(ii) Ph.D. or Fellow of Indian Institute of Management or of an Institute recognized by


AICTE and declared equivalent by the AIU.

(iii) A minimum of eight years experience of teaching/industry/research/professional at


managerial level excluding the period spent for obtaining the research degree.

2. In the event candidates is from industry and the profession, the following
requirements shall constitute as essential requirements:

(i) Consistently good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade
in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master's Degree in Business
Management/Administration/in a relevant discipline or consistently good academic
record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever
grading system is followed) in two year full time PGDM declared equivalent by
AIU/ recognized by the AICTE/UGC;
OR
First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Account / Cost and work
Account / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory body.

(ii) A minimum of ten years experience of teaching industry/research/profession, out of


which five years must be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent excluding
the period spent for obtaining research degree. The candidates should have
Professional work experience, which is significant and can be recognized at national
international level as equivalent to Ph.D. and ten years managerial experience in
industry/profession of which at least five years should be at the level comparable to
that of Lecturer/Assistant Professor.

3. Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered


desirable:

a) Teaching, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed


organization;

b) Published work, such as research papers, patents filed / obtained, books and / or
technical reports; and

c) Experience of guiding the project work / dissertation of PG / Research Students or


supervising R&D projects in industry.

Note:
1) Associate Professor in Business Management (Distance Education):
Desirable: P.G. diploma in distance education or experience in distance mode
education.
Specialization: Human Resource Management/Marketing/Finance.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: –(for Polytechnics)


Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
and Civil Engineering

Bachelor’s and Master’s degree of appropriate branch in Engineering/Technology with


first class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level.

Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in teaching/ research/industry.


OR

Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree of appropriate branch in Engineering/Technology


with First Class or equivalent either Bachelor’s or Master’s level and

Ph.D or equivalent in appropriate discipline in Engineering/Technology and

Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in teaching/ research/industry.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: Centre for Urdu Language, Literature & Culture

(i) Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant


disciplines.

(ii) A Master's Degree in Arts/Humanities and Social Sciences with at least 55% marks
(or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading systems is followed).

(iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an


academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University,
College or Accredited Research Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D.
research with evidence of published work and minimum of 5 publications as books
and/or research/policy papers.

(iv) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and
technology – mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided
doctoral candidates and research students.`

(v) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based
Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS).

Preference will be given to those candidates who possesses Diploma/Certificate


course in Museology/Ancient History/Art & Culture. Evidence of published work
should be in Urdu in the fields of Urdu Language and Literature/ Urdu
Linguistics/History/Culture /Museology

DEPUTY DIRECTOR: Physical Education

(i) A Ph.D. in Physical Education. Candidates from outside the university system, in
addition, shall also possess at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point
scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level by the
university concerned.

(ii) Eight years experience as University Assistant DPES/College DPES, with a benefit
of two years and one year for Ph.D. and M.Phil. Degree holders.

(iii) Evidence of organizing competitions and conducting coaching camps of at least


two weeks duration.

(iv) Evidence of having produced good performance teams/athletes for competitions


like state/national/inter-university/combined university, etc.

(v) Passed the physical fitness test in accordance with these Regulations.

(vi) Consistently good appraisal reports.

NOTE: (a) Subject to the provisions of UGC Regulations-2010 All candidates who
are required to undertake the physical fitness test shall be required to produce a
medical certificate certifying that he/she is medically fit before undertaking such
tests.

(b) On production of such certificate mentioned (a) above, the candidates would be
required to undertake the physical fitness test in accordance with the following

at the Master's Degree level in Sciences/Engineering from an Indian University, or an
equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the
National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited
by the UGC like SLET/SET.

(iii) The candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with

equivalent qualification in translation techniques and having evidence of multilingual

A. Qualifications for B.Ed. course:

3. Any other stipulation prescribed by the UGC / any such affiliating body/State Government,
from time to time for the positions of principal and lecturers, shall be mandatory.

1. First Class Masters Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant

equivalent by AIU/accredited by the AICTE/UGC;

Works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory bodies.

(ii) Desirable:
1. Teaching, research, industrial and/or professional experience in a reputed
organization;

2. Papers presented at Conferences and / or published in refereed journals.

Specialization: MBA with any specialization with B.Tech / M.Tech. background.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (CS&IT Dept): Information Technology and Computer & Informatics
(i) Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55%
marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading systems is followed)
at the Master's Degree level in Computer Science from an Indian University, or an
equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the
National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited
by the UGC like SLET/SET.

(iii) The candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with

One post reserved for woman

(i) Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55%
marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading systems is followed)
at the Master's Degree level in any subject from an Indian University, or an
equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the
National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited
by the UGC like SLET/SET.

(iii) The candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with
the University Grants Commission (Minimum standards and Procedure for Award of
Ph.D. Degree) Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the
minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment
of Assistant Professor.

Preferable: Certificate/Diploma in Academic Administration. Experience in


Academic administration in University/Reputed training centre.

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE: Centre for the Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy
(Tenure based, up to 31.03.2012)

(i) Good academic record with a first class at the Master's Degree level and Ph.D. in
Social Sciences with good publication and teaching experience at he P.G. level for a
minimum of 5 years.

(ii) However preference will be given to candidates who have requisite


experience/qualification in Sociology, History, Public Administration, Political
Science and experience in the area of study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy.

Important Note:

1) Applicants wherever required should fill-up the API score card and send along with the
application form. The API format can be downloaded from UGC website together with
application form from the University’s website www.manuu.ac.in. Applications without
API score card shall not be considered for short-listing.

2) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines
for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

3) Candidates may note that the UGC has prescribed the above qualifications for teaching
positions in all higher education institutions for maintenance of minimum standards in
consultation with the Statutory Councils governing the approval of courses respectively.
Any future modification in qualifications for appointment of teachers in
universities/colleges offering such courses will automatically be considered as adopted
by the UGC as prescribed qualifications for those courses.

4) The Qualifications as prescribed by the UGC (www.ugc.ac.in) are applicable from time to
time. Revisions/Changes in the same shall be applicable.

5) A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and master's level for SC/ST/PWD
(Physically and Visually differently-abled) categories for the purpose of eligibility and
for assessing good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions. The
eligibility of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system
is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible,
based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures.

6) A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. Degree
holders who have obtained their Master's Degree prior to 19th September, 1991.

7) Relevant grade which is regarded as equivalent of 55% wherever the grading system is
followed by a recognized University shall also be considered eligible.

8) The Ph.D. Degree shall be a mandatory qualification for all candidates to be appointed as
Associate Professor through direct recruitment.

9) The period of time taken by candidates to acquire M.Phil. and/or Ph.D. Degree shall not
be considered as teaching/research experience to be claimed for appointment to the
teaching positions.

GENERAL INF ORMATION


1. Urdu shall be compulsory for all the teaching posts. The candidates must have studied
Urdu as a subject at SSC/+2 or graduation level.

2. The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum and the mere fact that a
candidate possesses the same will not entitle him/her for being called for interview. The
University reserves the right to restrict the candidates to be called for interview to a
reasonable number on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the
minimum prescribed or by any other condition that it may deem fit. Those who are
possessing higher qualifications will be given preference for short-listing the candidates.
The University may constitute a Screening Committee to scrutinize the applications and
short-listing the candidates. Call letters for test/interview will be sent only to the short-
listed candidates and no correspondence will be made with applicants who are not short-
listed.

3. It would be open to the University to consider the names of suitable persons who may
not have applied, but recommended by experts in their respective fields.

4. The University will have the right to relax any of the qualifications, experience and age,
except those relating to the knowledge of Urdu, in deserving cases for all the posts.

5. The statutory provision for relaxing of age, minimum qualification, experience etc.
prescribed in case of the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories will be made
applicable to them.

6. The number of vacancies indicated in the Employment Notification and in this booklet
are tentative. The University reserves the right to increase/ decrease the number of
posts, at the time of selection and make appointments accordingly.

7. The panel of selected waitlisted candidates will be valid for one year from the date of
selection and University shall make appointments on consequential / new vacancies.

8. Reservation for SCs/STs, OBCs and PWD for all posts as per GoI rules. Candidates
applying for the reserved posts should clearly state to which category they belong. They
must also enclose attested Photostat copies of valid Caste Certificate / Medical Certificate
from the concerned competent authorities as per Govt. of India orders. The form of caste
certificate to be produced by other backward class (OBC) candidates must be in the
format as prescribed by the Govt. of India (please visit website www.ncbc.nic.in for
further details). Without valid certificate, the applications will not be considered against
the reserved posts.

9. The University may offer lower post to a candidate who may have applied for a higher
post in case suitable candidates are not available for the advertised posts.

10. Outstation candidates belonging to SC/ST categories called for interview will be paid
sleeper class rail fare (to & fro) by shortest route towards journey expenses on submission
of original ticket(s).

11. Canvassing in any form on behalf of any candidate will disqualify such a candidate.

12. The Selection Committee may decide its own method of evaluating the performance of
the candidates in interview. The University may utilize seminar or colloquium as a
method of selection.

13. The in-service candidates should apply through proper channel.

14. Separate application should be submitted for each post.

15. Qualifications, experience, etc. will be reckoned as on the last date for receipt of filled-in
applications i.e. 04-03-2011. Clear photocopies of all important certificates must be
attached with the application.

16. Incomplete applications in any respect shall not be considered at all.

17. No interim queries regarding interview/ selection will be entertained.

18. University reserves the right not to fill any of the vacancies advertised, if the
circumstances so warrant.

19. University will not be responsible for any postal delay at any stage.

20. New pension scheme in accordance with the O.M.No.1 (13) EV/2001, Govt. of India,
Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure, dated 15.03.2004, will be applicable with
subsequent amendments made or will be made from time to time.

21. In case of any disputes/suits or legal proceedings against the University, the Jurisdiction
shall be restricted to the Courts in Hyderabad, which is the Headquarter of the
University.

Errors and omissions are subject to correction.

HOW TO APPLY:

i) Application form is available only on University website-www.manuu.ac.in and the


same can be downloaded.

ii) The filled-in application form along with copies of required documents viz. education &
experience certificates, etc., together with registration fee of Rs.500/- for General & OBC
candidates through crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of Maulana Azad National
Urdu University, Hyderabad, on any Nationalized Bank payable at Hyderabad. The
filled-in applications should reach through Speed/Registered post to the Registrar,
Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Gachibowli, Hyderabad – 500 032 (A.P.) on
or before 04-03-2011

SC/ST/PWD candidates need not to pay the registration fee. However, they may enclose
Rs.50/- Demand Draft together with downloaded application forms.

iii. Those who are submitting application through post must to be enclosed self-addressed
envelop with Rs. 5/- postal stamp. The applicant must write name of the post applied,
his/her name and address on the back of the Demand Draft (Cheques / Money Orders /
Postal Orders will not be accepted). Fees ones paid shall not be refunded under any
circumstances. Applications received after the last date and with incomplete information
or without requisite fee will be summarily rejected. The University will not be responsible
for any postal delay at any stage.

NOTE: In case the applicant is in service and delay is expected in getting endorsement of the
employer concerned on the original application in sending it to the University, the applicant may
submit Advance Copy of the application along with original Demand Draft and all enclosures. A
Xerox copy of the Demand Draft may be enclosed to the original application being sent through
proper channel/employer. If the original application through proper channel has not been
received by the University by the last date mentioned in the employment notification, the
candidate/applicant will have to submit ' NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE' obtained from
his/her employer to the University at the time of interview, if he/she is called for interview.
