Block Assembly:
1. Sew the infield triangles (cut from the template) to the center (pitcher’s mound) square. Sew opposite sides,
matching the centers of the triangles to the center of the square and pressing seams towards the triangles. Trim
away any points that extend beyond the seam allowance.
2. Sew the bottom left baseline to the center square and the top right baseline to that unit, pressing the seams
towards the baseline pieces. Lay the unit back in place.
3. Sew the bases to their corresponding baselines (top right baseline with third base on the left and second base on the
right; bottom right baseline with the square that will become home base on the left and first base on the right),
pressing the seams towards the baselines. Lay them back in their places.
4. Sew the second and third base unit to the top of pitcher’s mound unit, making sure that the baseline that will
complete home base is at the bottom of the unit. Press the seam towards the baseline. Add the home base and
first base unit to the bottom of the pitcher’s mound unit. Press the seams towards the baseline.
5. Sew the outfield triangles to the infield unit, sewing them on opposite sides, matching the centers of the triangles to
the center of the square and pressing the seams towards the triangles. Trim away any points that extend beyond
the seam allowance.
