CRIPpE is an institutional structure within the Faculty of Business Administration of the University of Bucharest.
To promote programmes that extend university graduates’ access to the labour market.
To offer consultancy and initiate applied research in the area of professional development and entrepreneurship
in the labour market.
To support the development of interaction between the academic and business environments.
To contribute to the design of practical placement curricula with support from academics from a range of
academic structures both nationally and internationally.

Session Two
Know yourself - and getting to know others!
Exercise - In pairs, work with your neighbour to identify three things which are
good about the person’s profile at work and three things which they might need to be careful
about
Interactive review of exercise with the audience - tutor draws out lessons learnt

giving bad news to a colleague and are asked how they would deal with it.

Managing Time, Listening and Presenting Effectively
Time Management – The ability to effectively manage time and planning every day forms a

Presentation and Selling Skills – whether presenting verbally to one individual or doing a powerpoint
presentation to a group, this part of the programme gives you the skills to have the confidence and
presentation skills to be effective every time.

Job Hunting - Using what has been learnt on this course, deciding on the specific roles
aligned to personal skills, personal strengths and qualifications. Identifying the sector, being
specific on the type of organisation (large, small, etc). Effective use of internet, targeting
companies aligned to career goals.
Applying for the job - Identification of the process, tools and techniques needed to make the
person “stand out from the crowd”
Interview skills - how to prepare and be impressive at interview and how to come across in a way
which makes you memorable and, therefore, gives the best possible chance of success.
