I Made the Right Choice

It is true, that in life, the choices you make create a contagious risk that you must take as
the consequences of your decision, that is why, thinking thoroughly of the situation you are in
should be done beforehand, as we could not have that same chance again twice. In regards to
that, as a novice in college and as considered a young professional, having Far Eastern
University (FEU) as my chosen university derived changes in me, which are framed unto a year
of challenging times. Want to know more about it? Then continue reading and allow me to share
the experiences I got as a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy student.

At first, I will admit that the adjustments I did were not as easy as you think, for I tend to
be out of place, not just into my schoolmates but also to the lessons and approach given to me by
my professors, particularly because I’m not used in taking tasks with a shorter limit of time, in
accordance to that, I also suffered low scores despite my perseverance to cope up and learn,
moreover, the characteristics of people I interact with were so diverse, making me positioned
into an awkward kind, however, as the time passed, I felt that I’m beginning to adapt and that
FEU’s welcoming hands are now reaching my heart and my comfort zone, enabling me to
express myself and go with the flow. Well, that moment of my life made me realized how FEU
could handle a shy type person like me wherein their activities promote oneness and interaction
throughout, enlightening students about belongingness and zigzag roads that we will encounter
in the near future. On the other hand, the combination of FEU and my degree program mold me
to become the stronger version of myself, as I’ve been taught regarding failures’ importance, that
without that, new knowledge would not arrive, how sad yet magical of skills gathered from tears
and hard work, right? For it is undeniably worthy and scary to think about. To add up, there is
one thing that marked on my mind as my year in FEU started and ended, the Law of Attraction,
as I always aim to see the silver lining in every hardships I experience, bearing in mind that “I
could do this, I could reach this and I will be this”.

Thus, the choices I made concerning with my university and degree will affect me five
years from now through the way I will be, as these two are the platform of learning that fostered
me to be who I am that time, a 24-year-old Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Lawyer,
Entrepreneur, or whatsoever career it would be. I will be happy, honestly, as my 1 year stay in
FEU was already fruitful and beneficial to my being so I presume that there are so much that I
should be looking forward to in here, due for that fact, regret might be in absence for now since
at time to time I knew that whatever happened and choice I made would not be diminished, with
that, I will just be open to innovative factors that are waiting. To conclude, yes, I made the right
choice for I became better!
