The above table shows an RFLP analysis of the crime scene DNA compared to the two

suspects, alleged father #1 and stalker. Alleged Father #1¶s DNA from saliva on the lip of a

Pepsi bottle he used the day before the disappearance. A cigarette butt found under the bushes of

the family home was identified as probably belonging to the Stalker. According to the results,

alleged father #1 was present at the crime scene. The probability of the DNA being the alleged

father¶s is 1/1,050,000,000. Furthermore the stalker innocence was proven by his parole officer

because they were in a meeting from 8:00pm to 9:30 pm while the abduction took place at

9:00pm. The mother and alleged father #2 also had alibis at the time their teen got abducted.

They had just gotten out of apple bees restaurant and a camera has them outside the restaurant at

9:04pm.

According to the above table, neither one of the alleged fathers could be excluded as the

biological father. The RFLP analysis was inconclusive. The DNA from the mother and alleged

father #2 was obtained via buccal swabbing. After the DNA isolation, the samples were cut into

smaller fragments using restriction enzymes Eco RI and HIND III. Their DNA was loaded into

an agarose gel and run for 30 minutes.

The alleged father is the prime suspect since his DNA was at the crime scene and also he is

nowhere to be found. The father of the teen is unknown.

I certify that the results were done in accordance to standard protocol of the city of Glendale and

are error proof to the best of my knowledge.
