Abstract

Artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, and the Internet of medical things

are expected to expand the infrastructure soon for the improvement of human
health and lifestyle. These technologies can meet the demand of evolving
computing applications in human health. Therefore, there is a need to focus on the
knowledge and implementation of such techniques to overcome the limitations of
existing conventional approaches used in monitoring human health. This chapter
describes various applications, limitations, challenges, and prospects in the
healthcare sector. We especially emphasized how these technologies can be
impactful in detecting, preventing, and controlling emerging diseases while
anticipating new trends.
