Red Baron® Stainless Steel Stick Electrode

Red Baron 308L MR E308L-16 DC+ Red Baron 308L MR is designed for joining type 304 and 304L 13
AC stainless steels and other common austenitic stainless steels referred
to as "18-8" steels. This low carbon version of Red Baron 308/308H
MR provides better resistance to intergranular corrosion than higher
carbon deposits. All-position welding, except vertical down.

Red Baron 308/308L-V MR E308-15, DC+ Red Baron 308/308L-V MR is designed specifically for vertical 14
E308L-15 down welding and for joining type 304 and 304L stainless steels
and other common austenitic stainless steels referred to as "18-
8" steels. Excellent for thin gauge materials and pipe.

Red Baron 308/308H MR E308-16, DC+ Red Baron 308/308H MR is designed for joining type 304 and 15
E308H-16 AC 304L stainless steels and other common austenitic stainless
steels referred to as "18-8" steels. Provides improved high tem-
perature strength. All-position welding, except vertical down.

Red Baron 309/309L MR E309-16, DC+ Red Baron 309/309L MR is designed for joining stainless steels 16
E309L-16 AC to carbon steels or low alloy steels. All-position welding, except

Red Baron 309/309L-V MR E309-15, DC+ Red Baron 309/309L-V MR is designed specifically for vertical 17

E316L-16 AC molybdenum bearing austenitic stainless steels, such as type 316

E316L-15 down welding and for joining extra low carbon molybdenum

Blue Max 308/308L AC-DC E308-17, DC+ Blue Max 308/308L AC-DC is designed for joining type 304 and 23
E308L-17 AC 304L stainless steels and on other common austenitic stainless
steels referred to as "18-8" steels. All-position welding, except

Blue Max 309/309L AC-DC E309-17 DC+ Blue Max 309/309L AC-DC is designed for joining stainless steels 24

AC 25%Ni and 5%Mo stainless steels, such as type 904L. Provides
excellent corrosion resistance. All-position welding, except
vertical down.

Blue Max Arosta 4439 DC± Blue Max Arosta 4439 is designed for joining type 317L, 317LN or 30
AC equivalent stainless steels. Added molybdenum provides improved
resistance against pitting corrosion and high resistance against
intergranular and stress corrosion. All-position welding, except
vertical down.

Blue Max Arosta 4462 E2209-16 DC± Blue Max Arosta 4462 is designed for joining duplex stainless steels, 31
AC such as type 2205, for applications with service temperatures up to
480ºF (250ºC) and down to -40ºF (-40ºC). Provides high resistance
to general corrosion, pitting and stress corrosion. All-position weld-
ing, except vertical down.

Blue Max Jungo 4462 E2209-15 DC+ Blue Max Jungo 4462 is designed for joining 22% Cr duplex stain- 32
less steels for applications with service temperatures up to 480ºF
(250ºC) and down to -58ºF (-50ºC). Provides high resistance to
general corrosion, pitting and stress corrosion. All-position welding,
except vertical down.

Blue Max Jungo Zeron 100X E2553-15(1) DC+ Blue Max Jungo Zeron 100X is designed for joining 25% Cr super 33
duplex stainless steels. Core wire alloyed. Provides improved corro-
sion resistance, high strength and reliable impact toughness.
All-position welding, except vertical down.

Blue Max® High Alloy Stick Electrode

Blue Max SL 9Cr (P91) E9016-B9 H4 DC± Blue Max SL9Cr is designed for joining 9% Cr, 1% Mo creep and 34
AC hydrogen resistant steels used in the power generation and petro-
chemical industries for applications with service temperatures up to
1200ºF (650ºC). All-position welding, except vertical down.

Blue Max NiCro 31/27 E383-16(1) DC+ Blue Max NiCro 31/27 is designed for joining 31% Ni, 27% Cr, 3.5% 35
AC Mo steels, such as Alloy 28, and dissimilar metals with service tem-
perature up to 840ºF (450ºC). All-position welding, except vertical
down.

Blue Max NiCro 60/20 ENiCrMo-3 DC+ Blue Max Nicro 60/20 is designed for joining nickel-based alloys, 36
such as Alloy 625, for applications with both high and low tempera-
tures. Provides improved corrosion resistance. All-position welding,

Blue Max NiCro 70/19 ENiCrFe-2(1) DC+ Blue Max NiCro 70/19 is designed for joining nickel-based alloys, 37
such as Alloys 600 and 601, and dissimilar metals that require
postweld heat treatment. Provides high resistance against oxidation
with excellent impact toughness at low temperatures. All-position

Blue Max NiCro 70/15Mn ENiCrFe-3 DC+ Blue Max NiCro 70/15Mn is designed for joining nickel-based alloys, 38
such as Alloy 600, and dissimilar metals that require postweld heat

Blue Max Nyloid 2 ENiCrMo-6 DC+ Blue Max Nyloid 2 is designed specifically for joining 9% nickel 39
AC steels and other low temperature steels. Provides high deposition
rate – 150% recovery. All-position welding, except vertical down.

Blue Max Gas-Shielded, Flux-Cored Wire

Blue Max FC-308L E308LT0-1, DC+ Blue Max FC-308L is designed for joining type 304 and 304L stain- 40
E308LT0-4, less steels and other common austenitic stainless steels referred to
E308T0-1, as "18-8" steels. Provides a low carbon deposit. Optimized for
E308T0-4 downhand and horizontal positions only.

Blue Max FC-309L E309LT0-1, DC+ Blue Max FC-309L is designed for joining stainless steels to carbon 41
E309LT0-4, steels or low alloy steels. Provides a low carbon deposit. Optimized
E309T0-1, for downhand and horizontal positions only.

Blue Max FC-316L E316LT0-1, DC+ Blue Max FC-316L is designed for joining extra low carbon 42
E316LT0-4, molybdenum bearing austenitic stainless steels, such as type 316
E316T0-1, and 316L. Provides a low carbon deposit. Optimized for downhand
E316T0-4 and horizontal positions only.

difficult stainless steels such as 347 and 2205 as well as nickel-based
