1, Christopher Adam Goodrich, being first duly sworn, hereby depose and state as

follows:

FBlSpecialA gent since June 2016 and assigned to the M iam iDivision since N ovem ber2016.

Priorto my assignm entto the ViolentCrim es and Fugitive Task Force, I was assigned to the

Violent Crimes Against Children Squad fortwo (2) years.l received training atthe FBl
Academy in Quantico,Virginia.In my currentcapacity,my duties include investigating bank
robberies,HobbsActrobberies,extortion,and otherviolationsoffederallaw .Priorto m y current

employment,IworkedasaPoliceOfficerinNorfolk,Virginia,fornine(9)years.
2. Based on the facts as setforth in this affidavit,there is probable cause to believe

a/k/a ddYung Fokiss,''and DIONTE ALEXAND ER-W ILCOX a/k/a çdD ionte Alexander''a/k/a

is-frapsavage4s''have committed violationsOfTitle 18,United StatesCode,Sections 1201(c)


(conspiracy to kidnap);l201(a)(l)and 2 (kidnapping).ltisalso alleged thatALEXANDER-
W ILCOX violatedTitle l8,UnitedStatesCode,Section922(g)(l)(possessionofafirearm bya
convicted felon).
3. The facts in thisaffidavit com e from m y personalobservations,my training and

experience,and inform ation obtained from other agents and w itnesses.This affidavitis intended

to show sim ply thatthere is sum cientprobable cause forthe requested warrantand does notset

forth allofm y knowledge aboutthism atter.

PRO BABLE CAUSE

October11,2020

On or aboutO ctober l1,2020,at approxim ately 3:30 pm ,Victim -l answered a

knock at the front door of her residence, located in M iram ar, Florida. She Iooked out the

window andsaw anunknownblackmalebelievedtobeDionteAlexander-W ilcox(dtAlexander-


W ilcox').lAfterVictim-linquired whathewanted,Alexander-W ilcox stated thathewanted to
talk to ikAnthony,''in referenceto Victim-l'snephew.zVictim -ladvised thatAnthony did not

reside atherresidence.Alexander-W ilcox then asked Victim -l to telephone her nephew so he

could talk to him .Victim -l tried to explain thatshe did nothave Anthony'stelephone num ber

but A lexander-W ilcox claim ed that he could not hear her through the window .A s soon as

Victim-lopenedthefrontdoor,Alexander-W ilcox pulled onta firearm,placed thebarrelon her

forehead,andpushedherinsidethehome.Anothermasked individual-believedtobeKejuan
Campbella/k/aSssplashzanotti''a/k/aiisplashzanoti''- quicklyjoinedAlexander-W ilcox inside
the residence.They ordered Victim-l to the ground.lm mediately after V ictim -l w as on the

ground, another m asked individual - believed to be A ntonio Jam es a/k/a ddYung Fokiss''-

enteredtheresidence,proceededtothebathroom,and struckVictim-l'shusband (sdvictim-z'')


intheheadwithan unknown object,possibly afirearm.JamesthenbroughtVictim-zintothe
living room , forced him to the floor, and kicked him in the face. Cam pbell, Jam es, and

lBecause Alexander-W ilcox and theothertwo assailants(Kejuan Campbelland Antonio James)woremasksand


were othem ise unfam iliarto the victims,law enforcementasked V ictim -land Victim-z to identifz each individual
by their attire and any other distinguishing characteristics. Once this occurred, law enforcement marked each
assailantby eithera numberornicknam ein orderto ensure thatallpartiesknew who com mitted whatact.

W hile both victim s were on the ground,Campbelltold them thatisA nthony''had

stolentwentythousanddollars($20,000.00)from him andthethreemaskedsubjectsweregoing


to collect it back from Anthony's closest fam ily m embers.3 Cam pbell subsequently ordered

Victim-ltocontactherbank,SunTrustBank,andtransfertwentythousanddollars($20,000.00)

from thejointsavingsaccountthatshesharedwithVictim-ztothejointcheckingaccotlnt.Once
the transfer occurred, Campbell took Victim -l's phone and installed Cash App, an internet-
based money transfer application, onto it without her perm ission.4 Cam pbell and the other

subjectsattemptednumeroustimesto transfermoney from thejointcheckingaccountintoan


accountregistered to Antonio Jam esbutwere unsuccessful.

6. Atan unknow n tim e butpriorto 8:00 pm ,Cam pbellforced V ictim -lto write five

(5)personalchecksfrom thejointcheckingaccount.Fourofthecheckswereforfivethousand
dollars($5,000.00)apieceand onecheck wasfortwenty thousand dollars($20,000.00).The
SdpayableTo''sectionon each check remained blank.Campbellthen took the checksand drove

to Am scot,located at3l4 N .University Drive,Pem broke Pines,Florida.W hile there,Cam pbell

attempted to cash the four $5,000.00 checks.Amscotdeclined to process any ofthe checks.
Cam pbellthen returned to the residence and ordered Victim -linto the passengerseatofa white

four-doorNissan Altima (the*$Vehicle'').5Campbellthendroveto thesameAmscotand entered

it w ith Victim -I. W hile attem pting to cash the checks, Cam pbellcom pleted the l%Financial

ServicesA greem ent''by listing his actualnam e,date Ofbirth,and socialsecurity num ber.6 He

also provided a copy of his Florida driver's license. Am scot again declined to process the

checks.Campbellalsoattemptedtocashthe$20,000.00 check butthatalso failed.


At approximately s:19 p.m., Campbell and Victim-l left tlle Amscot and

proceeded to the Publix located at600 N .University Drive,Pembroke Pines,Florida.Cam pbell

and Victim-l entered the store and walked towardsthe customerservice desk.Upon reaching

the counter,Campbellattempted to use Victim-l's SunTrustDebitCard to pnrchase money

orderstotaling $20,000.00.Publix denied the transaction.Campbellwas angry and frustrated


due to the failed attem pts.V ictim -l observed Cam pbellrepeatedly using his cellphone during

thistime.?

8. Because Cam pbell,Jam es,and A lexander-W ilcox were unsuccessfulatobtaining

therequisite$20,000.00,they decided to remainatthevictims'residenceovernight.During this


time,they ate the victim s'food,drank their liquor,and watched television.They restricted the

victim s'm ovem entsthroughoutthe house,and theiraccessto telephones and the internet.

October 12,2020

9. On oraboutOctober l2,2020,som etim e aherm idnight,Victim -z m ade a request

to sm oke a cigarette.Campbellgranted the requestand subsequently escorted V ictim -z to the

satnextto heronthesofa,lowered hispants,and exposed hispenis.W ith a firearm in hishand,

themaskedsubjectdirectedVictim-ltoperform oralsex onhim.lnfearforherandVictim-z's


lives,Victim-l complied.W hile stillholding the tirearm,the masked subjectstood up and
directed Victim-1to go into the masterbedroom.Stillin fear,Victim-lcomplied.Once inside,

the masked subjectforcibly raped Victim-l on top ofthe bed.The masked wbjectwasnot
wearing a condom atthe tim e.He then directed Victim -l to go into the bathroom and shower.

AherVictim-lshowered,sheandthemaskedsubjectreturnedtothelivingroom.
10. Atapproximately 8:55 am,Campbellordered Victim-lintothepassengerside of

the Vehicle.Cam pbelland Victim -l proceeded to the SunTrustBank,located at8250 M iram ar

Parkway,Miramar,Florida,inordertowithdraw moneyfrom thejointcheckingaccount.Upon


arriving,Campbellrealized thatthe bank wasclosed.Cam pbellthen droveto the SunTrustBank,

located at 10000 TaftStreet,Pem broke Pines,Florida,btltalso found this lecation to be closed.

Campbellgotangry and frustrated.He began using hiscellphone to conductan online search to

determ ine why the banks w ere closed.ltw as then that he realized thatitwas Colum bus Day,a

federalholiday.

11. Atapproximately 9:54 am ,Cam pbelland Victim -l arrived atthe M iam iCasino,

located at3500 N W 37th Avenue,M iam i,Florida.They entered the casino and proceeded to the

cashier's w indow . W hile at the cashier's w indow, Cam pbell attem pted to use V ictim -l's

becausetheamountexceededthecasino's$2,000.00threshold.
l2. Between approximately 10:16 am and 10:30 am, Campbell and Victim-l

proceeded to the W alm art,located at3200 N W 79thStreet, M iam i,Florida,and attem pted to use

Victim-l'sSunTrustDebitCard to obtain $20,000.00 in cash.W almartdeclined thetransaction.


A ûerleaving W alm art,Campbelltold Victim -lthathe did notIike something thatVictim -z said

duringthesmokebreakearlierthatday(seeParagraph9.9Headdedthatoneofthesubjectsback
atthe residence with Victim-z wasa Sskiller''who had killed in the past.Thiscaused Victim -lto

break down.Cam pbelland Victim -lthen returned to the residence.

13. W hile atthe residence,Campbelldirected Victim -l to place a telephone callto

SunTrustBank and increase herATM w ithdrawalIim it.A ûerthe bank authorized the increase,

Campbelldrove V ictim -l to various SunTrustBanks in the Vehicle.Below is a summ ary ofthe

SunTrustA TM locations,tim e,and transaction:

* October 12.2020.between 11:l5 am to 11:28 am, SunTrustBank, 8250


Miramar Parkway, Miramar Florida. Three (3) withdrawals totaling
$2,100.00.Bank surveillancewasnotfunctioning.
. October 12.2020.between 1l:50 am to 11:58am ,SunTrustBank,10000 Taft
Street Pembroke Pines,Florida.Five (5) withdrawals totaling $3,700.00.
Captured on bank surveillance.
@ October l2.2020.betw een 12:13 pm to 12:38pm ,SunTrust Bank,4475 S
Flamingo Road, Davie, Florida. Twenty (20) withdrawals totaling
$15,800.00.Capturedonbanksurveillance.

taken during the Sun-rrustBank transaction in Davie,Florida,displayed an individualbearing

sim ilar features to Cam pbell,specifically the tattoos neareach eye and a horizontalscar on his

A review ofthe surveillance footage confirm ed thatthe Vehiclew asa white N issan A ltim a.ll

A fter successfully com pleting the ATM w ithdrawals, Cam pbell and Victim -l

returned to the residence.Cam pbell,James,and A lexander-W ilcox began cleaning the residence,

even directing the victim s to participate. During the cleanup, the assailants placed m ultiple

clothingitems,jewelry,andliquorbottlesintwo(2)blacksuitcasesthatbelongedtothevictims.
Campbell,Jam es,and A lexander-W ilcox subsequently erased the footage from the surveillance

system ,rem oved the visible surveillance camera from the southwestcorner ofthe residence,and

tam pered with the surveillance cam era thatwas nearthe m iddle ofthe residence.They told the

victim s that their vehicle keys, cellphones, bankcards, and social security cards were in the

garage.Thatafternoon,Cam pbell,Jam es,and A lexander-W ilcox leftthe residence w ith the two

black suitcases.Before leaving,they warned the victims notto calllaw enforcementorharm

w ould com eto them .

l5. A fter the assailants had departed from the victim s' residence, Jam es used his

cellphonelz to record a video of Cam pbellsitting in the driver seat of a vehicle counting the

money from oneoftwo large stacksofUnited Statescurrency.In the backseatofthevehicle is

Alexander-W ilcox.W hile taking the video, Jam es stated,SiDon't w orry.l ain't posting this.''

arrestforviolating hispretrialrelease on pending state charges.W hile on scene,James confirmed thatthe cellphone
belonged to him.Aherexecuting a federalsearch warranton the cellphone (20-6605-HIJNT),law enforcement
observed theaforementioned video.

OnoraboutNovember24,2020,1aw enforcementexecuted afedera!searchwarranton James'icloud account(20-


6613-VALLE).The account also contained a copy ofthe video depicted above.The accountalso contained
photographsofboth Victim-l and Victim-z on ornearthe tlooroftheirresidence atthe time thatthe assailants tirst

l6. On or aboutO ctober l3,2020,law enforcem ent recovered an abandoned black


suitcaseat4100 NW 77 Ave,Davie,Florida.l3The suitcase contained num erousitem sbelonging

to the victim sand an identification card belonging to the victim s'fam ily m em ber.Thisappeared

to be one ofthe suitcases taken by Cam pbell,Jam es,and Alexander-W ilcox.Law enforcem ent

provided Victim -l and Victim -z w ith a photograph of the suitcase and its contents. They

confirmed thatthe suitcase and contentsbelonged to them .

Law enforcem ent subm itted m ultiple item s seized from the residence,including

thebed comforteron which the rapeoccurred,and the suitcase found on October l3,2020 (see
Paragraph 16)forDNA analysis.ResultsshowedthatJames'DNA waspresentonanumberof
item s, including the rim of a drinking glass,cigarette butts,and a Ziploc bag. Results also

showed thatA lexander-W ilcox's DNA w as presenton a num berof item s,including a different

drinkingglass,glovesfound inthetrash,thehandleofthesuitcase(seeParagraph 16),andthe


bed com forter on w hich the rape occurred.The DNA belonging to A lexander-W ilcox found on

the bed com forterincluded sperm .

l8. O n or about Decem ber l2, 2020, Victim -z contacted law enforcement and

advised that Anthony's stepfather show ed him a photograph of an individualthat threatened

Anthony.The individualdepicted in the photograph and whose identifiers were present w as

Jam es.A lthough V ictim -z advised that he was not certain that Jam es w as one of the three

assailants,Victim -lbelieved Jam es'appearance w assim ilarto one ofthe assailants.

togetherback in 2014 and 2015.ln fact,Florida driver's license records identify 7753 Faim ay

Blvd,M iram ar,Florida,as Jam es'last known address.This is the sam e address that Anthony

resided atand/orlisted in 2014.

that,priorto September 11,2020,Alexander-W ilcox had previously been convicted ofa crime

W ilcox had previously served a term ofim prisonm entexceeding one year,he knew thathe was a

convicted felon atthe tim e ofhispossession ofthe firearm .
