ENGINE BEARINGS
Kirloskar Engine Bearings is a division of Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd the First Engine Bearing
Company in India & holding the No 1 position since last 15 years, manufacturing 45 million pcs
of bearings, bushes & thrust washers per year

Having over 4 decades of experience in this business, the technology base for Kirloskar Engine
Bearings is from Glacier Metal Co. , U. K. The typical products manufactured are half bearings
(shells) , bushes and thrust washers for a large number of applications in the automotive,
agricultural, industrial and locomotive sectors. The engine bearings and bushings are
manufactured in a wide range of alloys such as Copper-Lead, White Metal (Babbit) , Aluminium-
Tin and Aluminium-Tin-Silicon (A17X) with in-house capacities & capabilities to manufacture
all the raw material, toolings & special purpose machines required for manufacturing the
bearings.

ENGINE VALVES
Kirloskar Engine Valves is a division of Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd. Kirloskar Engine Valve
was established in 1988 – 89 by taking over a group company.
The valves are produced for wide range of application such as Cars, Tractors, Trucks,
Industrial
& Marine engines & Locomotives with stem diameter of 5 to 18 mm, head diameter of 28 to
100 mm & total Length upto 350 mm. The material used for manufacturing is 21 – 4N, En 52,
Inconel X751, En19C (SAE 5140) , SUH 11, SUH 35, etc.

The valves can supplied with a variety of finish such as

· Tufftrided / Sursulf treated valves
· Chrome-plated valves
· Friction welded bi-metallic valves
· Arcor treated valves (in black finish)

KOEL engine bearings are being regularly exported for almost a decade to USA, Europe, and the
Indian Subcontinent.

They are in advance stage of discussion with few Global vehicle & Engine manufacturers, and
our plant has been audited by these OEMs. We have also signed contract with one Global OEM
for supply of large quantities of engine valves.
