Standar Kompetensi : 2.1 Memahami makna text fungsional pendek dan monolog berbentuk
narrative, explanation, dan discussion dalam kontex kehidupan
sehari – hari.

Kompetensi Dasar : Merespon makna yang terdapat dalam text lisan fungsional pendek resmi
dan tak resmi secara akurat dan lancar dan terterima dalam berbagai
konteks kehidupan sehari-hari

Indikator :

• Memahami Text monolog narrative

• Mengidentifikasi text organization dari sebuah text monolog narrative.

Tujuan Pembelajaran :

• Siswa dapat memahami text narrative, dapat menjawab pertanyaan mengenai isi text.

• Siswa dapat menentukan text organization.

Materi Ajar : Fungsional pendek ( Narrative)

 The purpose of narrative text : To amuse or entertain the readers with actual or
imaginary experience in difference ways. Narrative always deal with some
problems which lead to the climax and then turn into solution to the problem.

 Text Organization:

• Orientation

(Who were involve in the story, when and where)

• Complication

(The problem arises followed by other problem)

• Resolution

(Solution for the problem)


Contoh text:

The Fox and The Grapes


Long long ago there lived a fox who loved to eat. He lived close
to a vineyard and he used to stare at the lovely grapes that
hung there.

"How juice they look. Oh I am sure these are stuff that melts in
the mouth when you have them. If only I could reach them".

One sunny day, the fox woke up and saw the grapes glistening
by the sunlight. The vineyard looked heavenly and the grapes
looked so luscious that the famished fox could no longer control
itself. He jumped to reach them but fell down.

He jumped again. No, they were much higher.


He jumped even more. But they were still out of reach.
He jumped and stretched and hopped but to no avail. Those yummy grapes hung
higher than the fox could reach. No matter how hard he tried, the fox could not
reach the grapes. He panted and began to sweat out of exhaustion.
Giving up finally, he looked up in contempt and said as he walked away, "Those
grapes surely must be sour. I wouldn't eat them even if they were served to me on
a golden dish."
It's easy to despise what you cannot have.

Alokasi Waktu : 60 Menit (2 x 30 menit)

Metode pembelajaraan : Think pair share

Kegiatan pembelajaran :

a. Kegiatan awal (10 Menit)

- Greetings (2 menit)

- Mengecek kehadiaran siswa (2 menit)

- Memberikan pertanyaan mengenai materi yang akan diajarkan (6 menit)

b. Kegiatan Inti (42 Menit)

- Siswa mendapatkan penjelasan mengenai text monolog naratif (5 menit)

- Siswa menyimak story telling video dan menjawab soal mengenai cerita yang disimak
bersama pasangan (think pair share) (listening trough questions). (20 menit)

- Guru PPL mengumpulkan hasil pekerjaan siswa (2 Menit)

- Siswa mendapatkan tugas individu dari guru PPL yaitu melengkapi cerita naratif
berdasarkan rekaman suara guru yang mereka dengar. (listening trough complete the
description).(15 menit)

c. Kegiatan Akhir (8 menit)

- Siswa dan guru PPL menyimpulkan materi bersama-sama dengan menggunakan


model everyone to be a teacher here. (5 menit)
- Guru menanyakan pendapat siswa mengenai materi hari ini sekaligus salam penutup.
(2 menit)
