account. This study can also inform them that they can join with their children in modern
technology.
To the Researchers. This study will help them a lot of information about the social networking
sites as a tools for developing social awareness. It will help them to easily understand and let

To the future researchers. This study will serve as their reference to gather some imformation
conducting the study. This chapter includes the discussions of the design of the research,
description of research instrument to be use, description of the local of the study, steps in
Searching for valid reliable sources of data and information for this study was a
challenge for the researchers looked for several articles, thesis, and research works in order in
gather information and conducted sampling in order to acquire the data required for this study.
Research Design
This research utilized a Quantitative Research Study that determines the problem of
Social Networking Sites as a tool in Social Awareness. A Quantitative method is chosen for the
research. The data was collected through the use of primary data set of the distribution of 14
questionnaire.
Survey Questionnaire-is a very well-known and widely used research technique for
quickly and analyzing data from a population under study (Encinas et al..,2017).
In this study, a random sampling technique was use. Polit and Beck (2008) define
research sample as subgroup of population from which data is collected and genegalization are
made. With this, the Bilogo Integrated National High School students are involved. In fact, 56
means of direct contact which is face to face survey with the respondents.
According to Bakar (2001), the questionnaire is needed to acquire primary data which
best suitable for research is based on observation a survey. Hence the researchers used a

The research instrument used was a survey questionnaire consisting of a list of prepared
questions devised to gather general information needed from the study. The researchers use
two type of questionnaires: both contractive questionnaire and adapted questionnaire as their
researcher must read about the problem and asked more information regarding to topic. After
analyzing the ideas, the researchers prepared the items. The first draft of the questioner was
present to the research teacher for checking and suggestions for improvement.
VALIDATING ON THE QUESTIONNAIRES: After the approval of the research adviser, the
questionnaire was presented to some expert for context validation After including all
suggestion, the researcher made the final draft. It was then again showed to the adviser for
The researcher will conduct the school administration at Taysan, Batangas for approval
of the questionnaire distribution. After having the permission, the researcher distributes survey
questionnaire for their response in each section of the questionnaire. The copies of the
questionnaire are personally distributed by the researcher to make sure that it would, return
completely and also for them to immediately assist the respondents who had some problem in
answering.
