1. My role expectations of the following:

a. men and women
Young men as they were children have been raised to expect them to be brave, dominant and
industrious while women have been expected to be weak, timid and nurturing. The boys were raised to
believe that they were the sustainer of wealth and head of the family as they grew. In terms of education,
girls have more courage to go to school and learn than boys because at this time, lots of boys cutting on
classes during school days. In household, girls are responsible on doing the household chores while men
are the one does the hard works which women can’t did.

b. older and younger members of the family

Older members of the family have more responsibilities than the younger ones. The elder
siblings are obliged to take good care of their younger siblings and they are the one who are more
responsible on doing the household chores. Younger siblings are committed to obey their elders and
respect them at the same time.

c. married and unmarried men

Married men have their commitments with his family and he’s responsible on sustaining his
family’s needs at the same time the head of the family. The man's traditional roles was the worker and
protector of his family, he provided the food and home. While an unmarried men are whether a single,
widowed, divorce, annulled or live in partner. These kinds of men have their own role in a society or in
their family they could be a provider by themselves or a single parent who raise his siblings by his own
hard work.

d. married and unmarried woman

Married woman have their own responsibilities as a wife to her husband and a mother to her
children. Her role was to do the household chores and learning to cook in order to satisfy her husband.
She is obliged to be the home maker, the cook, the cleaner and the nurturer of children. While the
unmarried woman, it could be a widowed woman, annulled, divorce or a single has different role to take. If
she has a child, she is responsible on raising her child by her own. A widowed, annulled or divorce
woman has its own role on finding their right partners in life or just their self and her own family without
her partners presence.

e. teacher, priest or pastor, leader, government official, police/military men

Teachers are responsible on teaching and nurturing the students and make them learn in
school. A priest or a pastor is the one who are rendering the message of God and enlighten the minds of
the people through God’s words of wisdom. A leader has its responsibilities to guide and lead its
members and organize them in every way. Government officials are obliged to do their responsibilities in
the government. To consider the welfare and interests of the country as a whole and, to bring to council's
attention anything that would promote the welfare or interests of the country. To participate generally in
developing and evaluating the policies and programs of the government .To obtain information about the
operation or administration of the government. To keep in confidence matters discussed in private at a
council committee meeting until discussed at a meeting held in public. While a police or a military men
who have the professional knowledge and flexibility needed to perform a variety of missions in war and
peace. They must fulfill the duty imposed on them by law, by serving the community and by protecting all
persons against illegal acts, consistent with the high degree of responsibility required by their profession.
They shall respect and protect human dignity and maintain and uphold the human rights of all persons.
They shall not commit any act of corruption.

2. List some of the different deviance behavior notice in school and in community. Analyze them
as to their harmful or beneficial effects. Why do they exist?

In school:

- students who are fighting- cutting classes

- violating the rules and regulations in school

- failed to respect his/her teachers

- wearing of earrings by boys

In a community:

- throwing garbage anywhere

- fighting against its neighborhood
- crimes
- saying unnecessary or bad words to others

All these behaviors are referred as a deviance behavior which is a kind of behavior or actions that violate
rules or even cultural norms. These behaviors are all been seen as unnecessary behavior that we must
not develop. We can see its harmful effects to us and not the beneficial ones. By doing these, we are
violating any rules and breaking some relationships or any some cultural rules. These behaviors do exist
maybe because of the influence by the other people or in other country.

3. How is every person like all other persons? like some other persons? like no other persons?
- Every person like all other persons in way that they are a lot of people think alike each other..
Just for example in a gatherings of a crowd, they gathered together because they have the like-minded
which means they have the same idea on gathering together in a particular place or event.
