On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is indeed a great honour and privilege for us
to invite you to the “Virtual The 13th Liver Update and The Annual Scientific Meeting
of Ina ASL/PPHI 2021” which will be held on :

The theme is “Resuming Multidisciplinary Hepatobiliary Disease Management During

Covid-19 Era”.

The symposium is organized by Division of Hepatobiliary, Department of Internal Medicine,

Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia/Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National General
Hospital and Indonesian Association for the Study of the Liver (Ina ASL/PPHI).

Liver Update is organized annually has allows us in digesting and harvesting the practical
knowledge we need to know and practice and also allow us to keep our mind open for
the new development in Hepatopancreatobiliary medicine and surgery during Covid-19 Era.
Please mark your calendar on 19 - 21th March & 26 - 28th March 2021 and kindly prepare
the abstract of your research to be presented in this important meeting.

1. All abstract should be submitted online only via website :

All abstracts should be submitted in English.
3. Presenting Author
Corresponding author registered on the online abstract submission is considered to
the presenting author during the oral/poster presentation session. Changes presenting
author must be informed to the organizing committee before 15th March 2021.
4. Presenting Author Registration
All of the accepted oral and poster for presenting author will be given free entrance to
The 13th Liver Update and The Annual Scientific Meeting of Ina ASL/PPHI 2021
symposium.
5. Accuracy of Content
Submitted abstracts may be edited online up to the abstract submission deadline.
Abstracts cannot be edited or revised in any way after the deadline. All accepted
abstracts will be published as submitted by the authors. The responsibility for the
submission of an accurate and precise abstract lies solely with the authors.
6. Abstract Originality
Work published elsewhere before 19th March 2021 should not be submitted.
However, previously submitted work can be resubmitted.
7. Type/Category
Submitted abstract can be in a form of original article, case report, systematic review,
or EBCR
8. Topics
Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Hepatopancreatobiliary Disorders, Hepatopancreatobiliary
Malignancies.
9. Abstract Title
The title is limited to 20 words and should be brief and relevant.
Only use standard abbreviation.
10. Authors
Up to 6 authors can be listed in the abstract with up to 3 affiliations per author.
11. Abstract Body
- The abstract structure consists of Introduction, Method, Result and Discussion
for original article, systematic review and EBCR; while for case report is Introduction,
Case Illustration and Discussion.
- Font, size and style will be automatically configured by the system.
- Tables or figure are not allowed.
- The length of the abstract is limited to 350 words. The word count displayed
beneath the submission field is final and indisputable.
- Only commonly accepted abbreviations should use (e.g. HCC, CHB, etc).
12. The announcement of abstracts acceptance will be send via email.
13. All selected abstracts will be included in the Indonesian Journal of Gastroenterology,
Hepatology and Digestive Endoscopy.

2. The subheading of the poster content should be made according to the type of the study
(original article/EBCR/systematic review/case report)
