Mean grade of C (Plain) at KCSE or Div III at KCE or at least (1) one Principal and (1) one Subsidiary in KACE ORMean grade of C- (Minus) at KCSE or equivalent
with P1 certificate and at least two (2) years’ experience. Applicants with at least grade C (plain) or Credit 6 in English, Biology,
Chemistry and Mathematics at KCSE and KCE respectively will have an added advantage.

Departmental requirements before unit registration.

with at least two (2) years teaching experience. In addition, applicants must have obtained Grade C (plain) or equivalent in Mathematics at KCSE. OR Mean grade of C-

KCSE mean Grade of C+ and a minimum of a B (plain) in English or Kiswahili or its equivalent OR mean grade of C plain atKCSE or its equivalent; KCE Division II or
equivalent or EACE Division II or equivalent, with a minimum of C (plain) in English or Kiswahili. These candidates MUST ALSO have a diploma or equivalent in a
relevant field from a recognized post-secondary institution. Kenya advanced certificate of Education (KACE) certificate with a minimum of two (2) principal passes and
one (1) subsidiary, and a minimum of a credit pass in English or Kiswahili at the KACE level.

Forensic Science

Minimum requirements
Mean Grade of at least C (Plain) with C+ (plus) in Biology and Chemistry and C (plain) in Mathematics or Physics or KACE Division III with a credit in
Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics/Physics or have served in the disciplined forces for a minimum of two years with experience in any Forensic Science
discipline OR have a certificate in Forensic Science with a minimum KCSE mean grade C- (minus) or equivalent will also be considered for admission.
DEGREE PROGRAMMES

recognized institution OR KACE with two (2) Principals and one (1) Subsidiary in relevant subjects OR Mean grade of C- at KCSE and progressed from Certificate to
Diploma in a relevant programme at Kenyatta University or any other recognized/accredited Institutions.
b) Bachelor of Science (Telecommunication & Information Technology)

with a Diploma in either Electronics and Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications with a credit pass from a recognized institution. In addition, applicants must
have obtained at least Grade C (Plain) or equivalent in Mathematics and Physics.

c) Bachelor of Science (Mathematics and Computer Science)

Minimum requirements
Mean grade of C+ (Plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least B (plain) or equivalent in Mathematics, C+ (Plus) in English and C (Plain) in Physics.
OR KACE with two (2) principals, one of which must be mathematics and a subsidiary pass in general paper OR Mean grade of C (Plain) at KCSE or equivalent and a
Diploma with credit pass in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any other relevant Diploma form a recognized institution. OR Mean
grade of C- at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma at Kenyatta University or any other recognized/accredited Institutions.
d) Bachelor of Science in: i) Analytical Chemistry With Management ii) Industrial Chemistry With Management

Chemistry, Geography, Agriculture, and Physical Science/Physics. In addition, applicants must have obtained grade C(Plain) in Mathematics at KCSE or equivalent OR
Mean grade of C (Plain) at KCSE with a Diploma of at least Credit pass in a relevant field of study from a recognized institution OR KACE with two (2) principals and
one (1) subsidiary with a principal pass in Biology. OR Mean grade of C- at KCSE and progressed from Certificate to Diploma at Kenyatta University or any other

g) Bachelor of Science (Biology)

OR at least two (2) Principal passes, one of which must be in Biology at KACE OR Mean grade of C (plain) at KCSE and a Diploma in Forestry, Education (Biology,
