7 (a) Chun Yong, Hui Wen and Weijie decide to have a meal at a restaurant. They
decide to have rice and 2 other dishes. They have 4 choices for the fish dish, 3
choices for the meat dish and 6 choices for the vegetable dish. Find the different
ways they can order their meal if they must have at least one dish of vegetables.

(b) Estee, who is a kindergarten school teacher, is lining up a group of 3 girls and 7
boys. Calculate the number of possible arrangements if
(i) the boys form one group and the girls form another, with the boys behind
the girls, and,
(ii) the girls are all separated. [3]
