EXPERIENCE
FREELANCE WORK — MAY 2010 - PRESENT
Over the course of the past several months I have secured freelance contracts with several clients. Some of
my clients have included State Farm, Crockett Enterprises, Yasoo Health Inc. and the Northeast Tennessee
Tourism Association. My work has included social media marketing, interactive media, and customer relationship
management.

While working with Lori Cogan, Senior Vice President of Integrated Marketing, I managed and monitored the
success of her social networks, created prospective client profiles and maintained relationships with current and
potential clients.

For the past three years I have represented ETSU in the NSAC as the lead presenter and as an account
executive. I led the team in discussion, organization and development. I ensured that all of the components of

I have been a guest speaker for several Mass Communication classes at ETSU. I lecture on the power of Social
Media and the growing need for Mass Communication students to understand its value. I also give direction on
how to develop their own social media strategies.

MAGICIAN, DAVID TALLENT’S MAGIC SHOP AT DOLLYWOOD — SEP 2002 - JULY 2005
As a magician, I would perform comedy routines and magic shows hourly for audiences of 50 or more. I also held
the responsibility of instructing customers of all ages to be proficient in performing every trick they purchased.

During this time, I managed the daily activities and workload of missionary colleagues. I was responsible for

At the conclusion of my first semester I received “The It Award” Gibbs Jackson Communication Scholarship. I
have also competed in the National Student Advertising Competition for three years and served as the President
of the Advertising Club.

WALTERS STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE — ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE - GENERAL STUDIES - 2007-2008


While attending WSCC, I was a member of the Theatre Club, Art Club, Music Club, and Debate Team. I received
the Encore Theatrical Scholarship as well as the Outstanding Student of Theater Award.
