OVERVIEW

Accurate metering of a paper sheet dewatering at the press is not an easy

task to do. Because of the state of the liquid that s a mixture of water and
air and also because of the wide range of operating flows conditions during
the life of the wet felts.

The Opnor Press Meters provides a proven, customized and cost effective
method to monitor and improve press section performance. Opnor’s Press
Meters is unique and is customized for almost each application, many
times requiring to be fitted within a small area. We understand that
papermakers deal with a flood of detailed data, but are often too busy to
make use of this data to effect meaningful changes on the paper machine..
In order to turn these data to mining full info, we can package Opnor Press
Meters with Press Uhle Supervisory Control to result in real-time operating
benefits and savings.

Products Description
Opnor provides a range of press metering equipment to continuously
measure water removal at the press nip save all and the Uhle boxes, as
well as for the forming section. This includes a variety of weir boxes custom
designed and calibrated for your unique application. We can also retrofit
existing weir boxes with calibrated weirs and instrumentation needed to
automate data collection.

layout (does not includes CAD drawing piping details)

supplied with or without flanges, with cover, and with different inlet\ outlet position.
