Application Notes
• When MOTOR LOGIC PLUS is selected, a “Reset” pilot device push button eliminates the reset in the door option.
• MODBUS cabling is furnished when the MODBUS Communication Option is selected. When selected, vertical wireway
trunkline cabling, and drop connection to overload is furnished.

Motor Logic Plus Programming and Monitoring

Local Programming:
Local programming should rarely be used unless the overload is not tied
to a network. Local programming is accomplished by applying 9Vdc to
the “P” and “G” terminals of the communication module. Configuration
of parameters is an easy process. By using the Mode Select switch,
Program/Display dial and Reset/Program push button on the face of the
overload, parameter setting can be made without a network connection or
hand-held programmer.
Remote Programming and Monitoring:
The MOTOR LOGIC PLUS is a fully programmable electronic overload
with a communication port (2-wire or 4-wire configuration). Three distinct
methods of remote monitoring and programming are available.
• 9999MLPS Solutions software is available to monitor up to 99 overloads Solutions Software Information screen on a
