services. The department emphasizes quality assurance by acquiring faculty, staff, and

students according to well accepted international standards to reinforce the learning and

instruction processes. The department is eager to prepare scholarly leaders that are

capable to participate in the development of the field and to integrate information

technology in the learning environment effectively).

Course Overview

Arabic102 is one of the elective courses in Education Media Technology

program. This course emphasizes learning new skills and develops it in the field

of Education Media Technology and language skills through online device. It is

designed to assist students in their teaching field and language skills. Also,

develop and understanding of using one of internet elements in order to learn new

language and creating blogs related to the use of technology in education .Second,

understand how to use blog to post their assignment and do research on the

internet. Finally they have to evaluate the course and take the optional final quiz if

they want to see how the subjects were useful for all of students.

Course Goals:

Make my freshmen student at university learn how to speak, write and read

Arabic. Also, master there on line skills. By asking and send e mail to their

teacher if they don’t understand any step.

Course objective:

1-students will learn about Arabic basic like speaking and reading tools in online class.

Like pronounce the Arabic alphabet.

2-Student will learn about how to write in Arabic and know some of Arabic number.

3-Student will learn how to explore and deal with internet tools; by create an account in

Skype and blog. And learn how to use Arabic dictionary.

4-Student will learn how to evaluate the online course


Course Requirements

All students will design and develop blog in creative style at online class.

The student will learn to practice their language skill with other student in this class.

1-After Choose a free blogging software that student think is easy to use

2- student have to Register for an account that I will provide to student

3-students have to create their blog and Skype account at the first day

4-the student have to post their home work in their blog

5- All students have to submit all home work before the due date.

6-The student have to comment in each other work.

7-Students have to prepare before each class start.

All students have to turn over their work before the due date

All students have responsibility to do their own work and sited everything that is not

her/ his work if not that will be considered as a plagiarism.

Students have to participate and communicate with each other every week.

All students have to read the text before the course begins.

kind of Arabic word that you did learn in this class. It is worth 10 point

Rubric

A student accomplish all the course material and provide excellent quality of work on

their assignment and use any reference to expand his/her knowledge The students do

great on each class by sending their home work before due date and communicate with

instructor on lecture and each other. Also, answer the quiz items without any mistake

B Student understands some of the course material and provides good quality of work on

their course. The student do their assignments before due date.

C student provide their assignments with low effort and not participant on the online

meeting. And send it after due date. The student not quite sure understands all material of

the course. The student needs to review the course many times to know the material very

well.

D student do not complete all assignments. Also, show little of understand the course

material. The student does not communicate with other student and instructor in the

course

F students do not turn in any assignments or do any kinds of activity in this course .do
