sense of celebration because today, yes,
today, we would be witnessing different
literary-musical presentations from our
respective learners, parents and teachers
who have shown indescribable resilience
in facing the challenges of time! Right
partner?

Sheila: Correct! This only proves that Agusan

del Sur is truly the home of the finest
champions and the most flexible people
for the time-being. I really can’t wait to
see every bit of their performances
today!  So, are we all set?

Pepsi: Naye. Let’s just buckle up as we listen to

the words of welcome from our
Curriculum Implementation Division
Chief, Lorna P. Gayol.
WELCOME REMARKS

Sheila: Thank you very much Chief, for that

indeed warm words of welcome. Ladies
and gentlemen, this program would not
be as meaningful as it should be without
hearing an inspirational message from
our Assistant Schools Division
Superintendent, Ma’am Gemma Andante
INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE De Paz. Let’s watch this!

Pepsi: What a stimulating and stirring message

from our ASDS Ma’am Gemma De Paz.
Thank you very much Ma’am for
inspiring us all! You know what partner,
they always say that “Reading makes a
man”. Do you believe in it?

2
Sheila: Well, what they say could mean we
become less a man if we don’t even
know how to read comprehensively. For
me, reading gives us deepest pleasures
and it allows us to travel to any part of
the world or even to places beyond our
imagination at a lesser cost! Hahaha.

Pepsi: You’re right! But how do other people

view reading? What else could they say
about this? Let’s check this out from the
READING acrostics of the select
teachers in the Municipality of
Veruela!
ACROSTICS
Sheila: Wow! What an innovation!

Pepsi: Very creative indeed! I wonder if I could

still do that today. It might end up like a
disastrous experience for all! Hahaha!

Sheila: Hahahaha! I bet you can but let’s

have it some other time.Hahaha! Okay, I
guess everyone here loves fairy tales?
Don’t you partner?

Pepsi: I do! I love fairy tales and the characters

of course! When I was young, I usually
dreamed of wearing one of the
character’s gowns.

Sheila: Alright, since we all love it, let’s refresh

ourselves with this parade of fairy tale
characters’ costumes from the
Mucipality of Sibagat!
PARADE OF FAIRY TALE CHARACTERS’
COSTUMES Pepsi: Thank you Sibagat Munipality for the
amazing display of fairy tale characters’
costumes! This reading culmination
offers us an array of reading skills
portrayed by our Agusanon learners.
Ladies and gentlemen, let us lend our
ears to the Poem Recitation of Sarah
Marie L. Enriquez, a Grade 3 Pupil of
La Paz Elementary School as
she delivers the poem “ Maestra Noy”!
POEM RECITATION
“MAESTRA NOY”
Sheila: Oh, how I love that poem! Thank you La
Paz Municipality for upholding and
preserving our own heritage, values and

3
even our culture!

Pepsi: Yes. That presentation really brings

pride not only to the parents and
teachers of the learners but to all of us
Agusanons!

Sheila: Correct! This time, let’s listen to a

Balak titled “Gugma sa Panahon sa
Pandemya” by Alfredo M. Lugo and
Letecia E. Loquite from the Municipality

PANDEMYA”
Pepsi: Wow! That was a splendid performance
from the select parents of Loreto
Municipality! Courtship has never been
so wholesome, sweet, and unique as
that!

Sheila: Yeah. I agree! I enjoyed every moment

of it, too.

Pepsi: From the poetic presentations of our

learners and parents, let’s be
entertained by a series of back-to-back

Pepsi: Sure! Music really is the language of
the soul!

Sheila: So, ladies and gentlemen, here

Is another song rendition
from a parent and a learner of the
Municipality of San Francisco!

Pepsi: To sing us “Besame Mucho” or “Kiss

Me a Lot” written by a famous
Mexican songwriter, Consuelo
Velazquez, let’s have Mrs. Lavilla R.

can actually tell our learners’
comprehension of the way the story
goes in William Shakepeare’s writing.

Pepsi: Right! Okay, at this moment ladies

and gentlemen, let me give you
Christine Ann Nicole A. Mangadlao, a

Sheila: Thank you very much Sta. Josefa

5
Municipality for allowing us to
remember that family isn’t just about a
group of people having similar looks
but rather a group of people who love
each other amidst physical
differences.

Pepsi: You are right partner! By the way, are

you familiar with the Panchatantra?

Sheila: I guess so. It’s an ancient collection of

Interrelated animal fables in Sanskrit
verse and prose that is usually
arranged within a frame story.

Pepsi: Wow! Amazing! So, it’s really a

wonderful collection of stories! Ladies
and gentlemen, let’s be entangled
again with a back-to-back literary
presentation from the Municipality of
Trento!

Sheila: To tell us “ The Lion-Makers from the

Panchatanra” let’s listen to a learner
from the Municipality of Trento

Pepsi: and a spoken poetry by

Miss Jean Dequina, a teacher from
STORY TELLING/ SPOKEN POETRY the same municipality.

provincial leader who takes such a
part in the program. I think this must
be a challenge to all the parents and
stakeholders out there!

performances as these from our
stakeholders. Best advice to all of
you, you still have 12 months to
prepare!  Hope to see you!

values were added by a certain kind
of resilience amidst challenging times.
