Spring Concert: The New City Sinfonia returns to St.
Mary Magdalene’s to present a Spring Concert on
Sunday, March 6th, at 2:00 p.m. This fine 40-member
orchestra will present a dramatic program which will
feature Beethoven’s powerful "Eroica". Also on the
program will be Serenade in D Minor, by Antonín
DvoÍák, Richard Meyer’s Of Glorious Plumage,
and Intermezzo, by Enrique Granados. A freewill
offering will be accepted. Refreshments will follow the
concert.
St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Dance: Saturday, March
12th, Our Mother of Confidence Church Parish Hall.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Dance to the music of Frank
O’Connor from San Francisco; also, performances by
Malone Academy of Irish Dance. Tickets are $30 per
