I draw blood at the Cooper Campus and Harrison Campus; Draw patients from Pediatric,
Obstetric, Newborn, Oncology, Med Surg, Med Pulmonary, Orthopedic, Select Specialty, CVICU,
Surgical ICU, Surgery and Recovery, Cardiovascular Units; Work closely with nurses, aides, and
doctors; Lab draws are a key role in patient care and determine the length of stay, medications
administered, and comfort of the patient. By the date 7/27/20, I had 2,680 successful draws.

MEDICAL SCREENER, LEAR CORPORATION – FLINT, MI
I accepted this position for the summer in order to gain health care experience (HCE) hours for
grad school applications. I worked 4 hours a day during the weekday’s taking temperatures for
the plant workers for them to be let into work. I helped clean the tents, give wrist bands to the
employees, as well as gave them masks if needed. This job requires extensive customer service,
and I improved my communication skills while working here.
