FMCG

You will be managing daily cash management

Placement of excess funds to enhance returns,

Monitoring of cashflow movements

Expected cash requirements,

Prepare treasury cash reports and reconciliation,

Manage intercompany funds placement, loan documentation, external loan

Opening and maintenance of bank accounts.

You will arrange and monitor foreign currency hedging positions,

Provide foreign exchange gain/loss positions

Financial costs incurred on projects,

Co-ordinate inter-company netting and payment.

You will also be responsible for daily confirmation of deals and accuracy in processing
settlements and any other duties as may be assigned by Management.

We are looking for a candidate who possesses a Degree in Accounting or equivalent with at least
2-3 years experience in treasury. You must have the ability to work under pressure, have good
analytical skills, basic knowledge of International Accounting Standards 39 and prior working
experience with Treasury Centre work will be advantageous. You must be proficient in MS Words
& Excel and a committed and good team player

Accountant
The Role
- Reports directly to the Finance Manager
- Stand in for Accounts Assistant or Finance Manager during their absence
Accounts Payable
-Ensure all purchases and expenses are coded correctly and timely before posting
-Ensure all payments are accurate and updated promptly
-Review payments to interco and suppliers
-Ensure AP module in CS3 is closed out timely and perform monthly housekeeping
-Create and maintain Suppliers’ database in CS3
Accounts Receivable
-Ensure AR invoices are coded correctly before posting
-Ensure receipts are updated promptly
-Review monthly Debtors Ageing report
-Review and follow up of accounts receivable regularly
General Ledger
-Ensure all monthly accrual, adjustments, recurring and prepayment journals are updated correctly and
promptly
-Prepare and maintain monthly accrual and prepayment schedules
-Prepare and input adjustment journal where necessary
-Ensure GL module in CS3 is closed out timely and perform monthly housekeeping
Monthly Intercompany confirmation
-Ensure all intercompany balances are updated in CS3 correctly
-Confirm and prepare reconciliation for monthly balances with intercompany
Monthly & Quarterly Reporting
-Ensure all Corporate Reportings are accurate and on time
-Ensure all MIR and Management Reports are accurate
Fixed Assets
-Maintain Fixed Assets Register accurately
-Keep track of addition and disposal of assets
-Compute monthly depreciation for account closing
-Reconcile Register and books at year end
GST Reporting
-Prepare and file GST return on quarterly basis
-Ensure GST rate is current and correct
-Ensure compliance of Singapore GST Law
Cash Book and Bank matters
-Reporting weekly cash to Group
-Monitor cash balance
-Ensure receipts and payments are updated daily
-Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliation Statement
-Review and maintain HSBCNet
-Attend to all bank matters pertaining to Banker’s Guarantee, Letter of Credit, Bonds and others
Government Statistic Reporting
-Ensure monthly or yearly EDB, MOM, Dept of Statistics, JTC reporting are correct
Adhoc
-Attend to Bank, Corporate Secretary, Auditor or Tax Agent as and when required
-To undertake sundry tasks as required by the Finance Manager or General Manager
Department Housekeeping
-To maintain at least 7 years of records or files for audit purpose
-Ensure all previous years files are stored and kept systematically

The Person
- Min. ACCA qualification
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry
