11 Government granted accommodation is a great benefit 1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
12 Government should let employees plan their own
1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
pension so that they can exit at their will
13 Hardly anyone gets government quarters, though they
1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
are entitled
14 I am happy working with the government sector as it
1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
gives me a secure job
15 I am not satisfied with the benefits I receive 1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
16 I am overall very satisfied with my job 1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
17 I am satisfied that, as a government servant, I enjoy
1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
excellent leave benefits and holidays
18 I am separated from my family for most part of the
year and there is no compensating factor for this 1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
separation
19 I do not mind the relatively less salary in Government
service as the joy of serving the nation is a reward in 1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
itself
20 I don’t feel my efforts are rewarded the way they
1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
should be
21 I enjoy the full benefits of the government granted
1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
accommodation
22 I feel I am being paid a fair amount for the work I do 1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
23 I feel that all the benefits currently being given should
1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
be converted into cash and paid as part of pay
24 I feel that Pay in the government should focus more on
cash aspects, and leave the retirement benefits 1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
planning to the individual employees
25 I feel that Pay in the government should focus more on
cash aspects, and less on retirement benefits because
1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
employees can plan and fund their own retirement
benefits
26 I feel that the cash component in the pay packet should
1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
be much more than the non-monetary benefits
27 I feel that the government servants enjoy more paid
1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
leave than necessary
28 I feel that various departments/services in Government

29 I feel that, taking all the benefits and pay together, the
pay package in Government Service is comparable to 1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
the private sector
30 I feel un-appreciated by the organization when I think

about what they pay me
31 I should be given the option to decide on the pay mix
1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
at the beginning of every year
32 I feel my job is meaningless 1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
33 I think the cash component of the pay in the

1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
cash instead of various benefits

1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
benefits of pay, it exceeds the pay in the private sector

1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
liability by private sector recruiters
39 Looking at the monetary aspects alone, I feel that the
pay is less in Government service compared to the 1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
private sector
40 It is not difficult for me to land a better paying job in
1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
the private sector if I so desire
41 Many of our rules & procedures make doing a good
1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
job difficult
42 My job as a government servant provides me with
adequate time and opportunity to pursue my other 1 2 3 4 5 6 DK
interests
43 My organization encourages employees to plan for
