The second time Aiden's mom came to the door, she

was frustrated and yelled for him to get inside. She began thinking about aU the inflexible moments Aiden's had lately. If he could onn, see how being inflexible can make others feel.

''AlDeN, PUT DOWN THe BOOK. we ARe IN A HURRY!"

'Y wiu, ONt... Y eAT AT CHUNKY CHICKeN."

But then Aiden started to worry because he could not

The superflex Brain Sensor continued to give Aiden and Bark their very important directions.

Aiden and Bark could not believe what had just happened and they ran inside to tell Mom.

But Mom did not share in their excitement.

"HeY MOM! Guess WHAT?? . YOU~ SON IS THe NeXT 5Upe~FL.ex/ /',

"SURE YOU A~e, HON~Y."

12

But his mother was quickly taken by surprise and could not believe

her eyes and ears. She was shocked because Aiden, for the first time ever: asked her how her dalj was; asked her questions about plans for tomorrow; and cleared the plates from the table without being asked.

"HOW WA.S WORK, MOM?"

13

"WHAT AR~ YOU DOING TOMORROW?"

"CAN I C!..~AI< YOUR P!..AT~ FOR YOU ?',

After dinner, Aiden and Bark went upstairs to get in a little video game time before bed. He was playing his favorite video game, superttex Soccer, when .... the Brain Sensor started to shake.

14

Before he could say a word, Aiden and Bark were standing in a puff of smoke in their awesome Superflex costumes.

/'t$uperfler ...... Rock 6rain is proWng his tim attack on your ne~bor 10mmy1s brain .. ffls brain is geWng stuck and he onry wants to think about hiS Video game even though he has another

15

Rock Brain was not about to let the new Superflex spoil his plans to take over Social Town.

'Y WIL..L.. Oe:F~AT 5UP~RFL..~X THIS TIM~!'J'

16

Superflex and Bark quickly took off for their first mission.

"TOMMY, ROCK BRAIN IS TRYING TO G~T INTO YOUR BRAIN! H~RE:, US~ THIS 5UpeRFL.~X STRAT~GY TO DeF~AT HIM."

"COM~ ON BARK, we HAV~ TO H~L.P TOMMY! tOOK, HIS B~DROOM WINDOW 15 opeN."

17

tornmu was so excited to see Superflex and Bark! rornrnu was confident that he could defeat Rock Brain with superflex's strategy.

The strateou on the Brain Sensor read: Think about the fact that if I get my nomework done now, mom may feel so good about that

she mal} give me extra video game time before bedtime.

.'

:. -.':11

"OKAY, TOMMY, NOW IT 15 UP TO YOU."

18

\'MOM, I'M G~TTING 5TART~O ON MY HOM~WORK NOW."

Tommy did it!! He focused on the homework he needed to do instead of his video games. Rock Brain was defeated once again with the help of superflex and his strategy!

/

19

20

suoerflex and Bark quickly flew home, put on their pajamas and jumped into bed because they knew it was almost 9 o'clock, their bedtime. Seconds later, his Mom came into the room to remind him to shut off his video game and to go to bed.

She had to do this EVERY night because he was not a very flexible thinker.

But this night was different. She did not have to say a word. Mom gave him a big smile and said, "superflex would be realllj proud of you today, honeu, sweet dreams."

"He sure would," Aiden said, "He sure would,"
