Part 2

Case 1

I go through the net and library for finding case study; I found one interesting articles
on CET 2006 will shrink from the Times of India Newspaper. This article is all about
the examination of CET (Common Entrance Test) for the field of engineering and
doctors in India.

Actually there was a problem in Bangalore, city of India in 2006 for CET examination.
There was a selection of only 17 colleges out of 200 colleges in the state of Karnataka
for the examination of CET 2006. CET makes a business for entrance examination; it
did tie up with 17 colleges and selected their students only for entrance examination.
CET didn’t follow the business driver of equal policy i.e. all students and all colleges
are same. According to my point of view problem can only solved by Karnataka
Government; government should be interfering in this situation. They must have to tie
up between CET and colleges.

It is all about students’ life. Every student want to take admission in medical and
engineering field, so government should try that maximum students can give
examination of CET and take admission in the field of engineering and medical line so
that they can make bright future of country.
Case 2

I found one article on book, this articles belongs to with La Quinta corporation which
has a 372 corporate-owned hotels across the United States, three corporate sites and
more than 1,200 monthly telecom invoices representing millions in total annual
spend, La Quinta corporation needed a solution that would help it better manage its
telecom assets and streamline expenses. La Quinta was also facing a move to
implement a new wireless strategy that required incorporating expanded wireless
assets into its corporate infrastructure.

In this case the main business driver is Trial/Probationary Period. La Quinta Corporation
never go through this business driver, they never gave training to their employee about
new technology so their employee don’t know about wireless system. So according to my
point of view problem can only solved by some other telecom company which can
establish wireless system in hotels. Another option is they have to give training to their
employee about wireless system.

As I said they also go through another company called Symphony Today, Symphony’s
onsite account management team manages wireless and wire line processes for La
Quinta’s 372 corporate-owned hotels across the nation and three corporate sites.
