Financial prudence and control during a period of financial distress in the University. 1995-98
(1) I was instrumental to bringing the University of Benin Budget allocation from NUC
ahead of University of Lagos, thus changing the tempo of subvention to the University of
Benin. (1988/89)
(2) Made the recommendations for Budget year to coincide with Appt of Heads of
Departments. (Accepted and implemented by Management (1994)
(3) Initiated the computerization of Students Accounts unit which yielded over 300% return
within this first year. (2002)
