Course features Syllabus has been designed to cater the

A unique course dedicated to gas
engineering personnel. The only course of
its kind in South East Asia. The most
practical approach to gas engineering
applications and theories. Lectures will be
given by well verse and highly qualified
academicians, industry professionals and
personnel’s from authority body. Covering
both Natural Gas and LPG reticulation
system. Over 100 lecture hours with
comprehensive lecture notes. Site visit to
actual installation are also included.
Courses conducted on part time basis
during weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
Course Objective
To train local professionals and engineers
in gas engineering technology particularly
on low and medium pressure reticulation
system (LPG and Natural Gas) for housing,
commercial and industrial areas. The
course is designed to comply the
Malaysian Gas Supply Act (1993) and
Supply Regulation (1997)

Entry Requirement
The minimum entry requirement is a
Diploma or Degree in any engineering
discipline from recognized institution.
requirements of Malaysian Gas Supply Act
(1993) and Gas Supply Regulations
(1997). Lectures will be address by well
qualified academicians, professionals and
personnel’s from industry and authority
bodies that bears broad experiences in
the gas industry. Covering both Natural
Gas and LPG reticulation system. Gas
Fitter Class I is offering 40 contact hours
whilst Fitter Class II and Class III is 72 and
32 respectively. Comprehensive lecture
notes will be provided. Site visit to actual
installation are also arranged (Fitter Class
II and III). Practical session is dedicated for
Fitter Class III. Courses will be on
conducted on part time basis (Saturday
and Sunday) and full time (6 days) basis
for gas fitter Class II and Class III
respectively.

and industrial areas in line with
requirements of Malaysian Gas Supply Act
(1993) and Gas Supply Regulations
(1997).

Technicians, Site Supervisors, Gas
Contractors with/without registration with
PKK, CIDB and Energy Commission. Future
Gas Contractors and individuals involved
in the gas industry are highly
recommended to attend.
Entry Requirement

The minimum entry requirement for Gas

Fitter Class III is a SPM with 1 year
experience whilst Gas Fitter Class II and I
require 2 and 3 years
experiences respectively.
