Scholarship amount: Max. 20-25000 EUROS (ALL EXPENSES

Overview:

Linux Tool chain Developer and Tester

Experience:

1-4 years of experience in developing the cross toolchain for Embedded distribution

Must requirement:

• Experience in using glibc system libraries and glibc


internal details.

• Pthread programming experience and developing


multithreaded software using C/C++ language.

• Experience in performing the testing of linux


distributions like MVL and exposure to toolchain building, testing
and RPM packaging and using it.

Desireble requirement:

• MIPS/ARM Assembly knowledge is desirable

• Experience in using test suites like LTP (Linux Test


Project) and able to debug the issues.

• Experience in Scripting languages like


Shell/python/perl

Roles and responsibilities:


• Developing toolchain and testing on embedded
distributions

2. Fundamental Linux:

Overview: Linux internals developer with assembly knowledge.

Experience:

3+ years of experience in Linux internals & multi thread programming and debugging is
mandatory skills.

Must requirement:

Intensive experience in developing multi-thread software using C and C++ language.

Should be familiar in debugging and troubleshooting any issues.

Must have Experience in embedded distributions such as MVL, Build root, open
embedded tool chain & debugging in this environment.

Desireble requirement:

Knowledge of scripting (perl or python).

Knowledge of open source software’s tools and usage.

MIPS/ARM Assembly knowledge is desirable.

3. Linux Distro Testing Requirement

Overview:

Linux distribution tester

Experience:

1-4 years of experience in Testing Linux Embedded distribution

Must requirement:

• Basic knowledge in Linux system and using the linux


variant distributions
• Experience in performing the testing of linux
distributions like MVL and exposure to RPM packaging and using it.

• Experience in linux system testing, stress testing


using embedded distribution

Desireble requirement:

* Hand-on experience on scripting language ('Python', 'bash' script)

* Keyword:

5. UI Developer

Strong in Photoshop, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

SLP1.0 platform.

Experience in Porting Linux on to customised board Innovate-9263 and Samsung

Experience in building File systems (INITRAMFS,Ramdisk, JFFS2,yaffs) .

But we need engineers who have experience of “developing” toolchain.

4. Should have very good understanding in GCC, VS2005 complier atleast.

5. Should have very good understanding in Perl/shell scripting .

6. Should have Good hands on Linux and windows environment.

7. Good understanding knowledge of Static analysis tool or solving bugs reported by this
tools.
