. On this website I got a lot of information pertaining to my topic, but I also got

some very important pictures too. One of the most important pieces of

information that I got from this website was a document sent from President

Wilson to Herbert Hoover praising Hoover for his excellent work. Another was a

newspaper article that talked about how King Albert of Belgium was very grateful

for Hoover’s relief efforts.

This quote was important to my research because, even though the statement

wasn't talking directly about what I'm researching overall, the way I interpreted it

was how it could have an affect towards my topic.

From this website the important pieces of information I gathered were mostly

pictures. One document I thought was very important was a newspaper clipping
 with a political cartoon showing what the American people actually thought of

Herbert Hoover's relief efforts.

Herbert Hoover, Vol. 1 Years of Adventure 1874-1920, The Macmillan Company, 1951

This book was an excellent primary source for my topic, because it was written by

Herbert Hoover himself. The important information from this book was excellent

because it had an entire 5 chapters that gave me day to day details on what

Hoover did to save the Belgian population. Other important details I learned was

about all the people behind the scenes that helped Hoover to his success.

The poster I got from this website was important because it had to do with the

U.S. Food Administration's efforts to get the American people to save their food

so they could send it overseas to make our fighting soldiers stronger.
