Dear Partner<PersonalName>,

Greetings from me and from everyone at the Freshdew TVTV Network. I believe that all is
well with you and with all that concerns you.

This has been an exciting time for us all. It seems our tenth anniversary opened up so
many opportunities for us and we intend to walk in all of them. We are doing well in our
new station AIT Kaduna and despite the distance we are able to maintain a steady supply
of the Word to that region. The Love FM Radio slot is blossoming just as expected –
reaching more people than TV could reach. And most exciting of all – the website at
www.freshdew.tv is really going to give us the reach we desire. Thank God for the internet.
Can you imagine that some people once declared that the internet was off the devil?
Ignorance and religion are evil is all I can say. Well so much for the update……

The next thing I am believing God for is that you will develop a more communicative
relationship with Freshdew. Yes you!!! Send us emails to partners@freshdew.tv. We need to
hear your testimonies, we need to know what partnering with the Word is doing in your life,
we need to hear your victories after we have prayed over your prayer points……………your
feedback will surely inspire and encourage me, the Freshdew TVTV Crew and the rest of the
Circle.

As I was meditating on the Word for this letter, the Spirit of God said to me so clearly……

“Patterns and Habits, Patterns and Habits, Patterns and Habits. Tell my
people that their lives today are a product of their patterns and habits.
Then let them know that they can create their lives tomorrow by the
patterns and habits they develop today…”

While I was still musing over that, I thought: Lord give me a Scripture to back this up
because every prophecy should line up with the Word. Almost immediately He answered
me with Joshua 1:8 and then later with Psalm 1:1-3

Jos 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your
mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you
may observe to do according to all that is written in it.
For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you
will have good success.

Psa 1:1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of
the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in
the seat of the scornful;
Psa 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in
His law he meditates day and night.
Psa 1:3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of
water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose
leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall
prosper.

Looking up those two words in the dictionary I discovered these meanings:

Habit – a settled or regular tendency or practice, esp. one that is hard to give up;
an addictive practice, an automatic reaction to a specific situation.

Pattern – a regular and intelligible form or sequence discernible in certain actions

or situations, a model or design used as a guide.
Hey isn’t it interesting that anytime we think of the word habit it’s usually something
negative that comes to our minds? Well for everything that the enemy orchestrates its
abuse there was an original use designed by God. God created us to derive power out
of our habits. So instead of negative habits like drugs, tobacco, pornography, lying…let
us remember the power in forming positive habits. Look at Joshua 1:8 again…

• Let’s form a habit of the Word of God, or speaking the Word and thus giving the
Word we speak authority and final say over our lives.
• Let’s form a habit of forgiveness and ensuring that bitterness never takes root
in our hearts no matter the validity of the hurt and provocation we may face.
• Let’s form a habit of sowing sacrificial seeds at every opportunity and establish
a guaranteed wealthy future.

Remember that habits are addictive, hard to give up. This is one of the things we hope
to achieve in you with the “Sword of the Spirit” which was our gift last month. Let’s get
uncontrollably addicted to the Word, to agape love and to sowing seed in good ground.
What a guarantee this gives you for your future!

A man who is addicted to tobacco most of his life is most likely going to end up with
lung cancer, a man who is addicted to prostitute sex is most likely going to end up with
HIV, a man who is addicted to stealing will most likely get caught, a man who is
addicted to gambling will most likely end up broke, a man with a habit of worry and
fear will most likely end up experiencing that which he was afraid of (Remember Job?)…
………the moral of the story…..EVERY HABIT GUARANTEES A PARTICULAR FUTURE FOR
YOU!!

Dearest friend, this is the bottom line. We have to make certain decisions today to
safeguard our future tomorrow. Our Covenant has gone before us and it’s a covenant
that is fail proof. The right habits formed in our lives will cause us to key in decisively
into our glorious Covenant.

And patterns? As we develop these habits with the Word and the Spirit, we will see
patterns because Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever! God is very
particular about who or what you model your life after.

Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today,

and forever.

Exo 25:40 And see to it that you make them according

to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain.

Let us build after the pattern. We want to learn how to give sacrificially: look at
Abraham as a model, you want to learn how to maximize your relationship with God:
look at David as a model, you want to learn how to walk in revelation knowledge: half
of the New Testament was written by Paul, you want to get wisdom: Proverbs is full of it
– a chapter a day each month is often recommended……

For everything in life get the right model. Get the patterns that are divinely inspired
and have proven results. No need to go to unbelieving relations for wisdom tips, God
has a model for every specific “building” you need to build. As you develop habits that
are founded “in Him” you will encounter those models and discover those patterns that
never fail.
