Greek mythology is a fascinating, interest-
ing and very educational part of Ancient Greek.
In the early ages humans could not explain
themselves how everything worked: Why was
the sky up and the earth down? Why were there
lightings? Why was there rain? So through the
years gods were the center of the human imagi-
nation. People created the gods!

Gods
Zeus also known as Father of
Gods and Humans was the god of
the sky. He was the child of Cronus
and Rhea. He has two Brothers Po-
seidon and Hades. He had a beauti-
ful wife, goddess of the marriage
and family, Hera. Zeus/Зевс
Poseidon was the god
of seas, storms and earth-
quakes. He is also known
as The-Earth–Shaker.
His parents were also
Cronus and Rhea. Posei-
don is the creator of
horses and with Athena
the Creator of the Char-
iot. Hades/Хадес
Hades was the oldest child of Cronus
and Rhea. He was the god of the dead and
ruler of the Underground. His wife is Per-
sephone, daughter of Demeter and Zeus.
The underground was divided in three part
the first one was the Asphodel Meadows
that is the place where humans stay after
there death. Elysium was the land of the
heroes where every noble and good hero
went after his death. Tartarus was the most
horrible place to go, after you die, if you
have not been good in your previous life,
you go and suffer there.
