You like some other people questioned and doubted I had ever been a victim of
racism in order to write civil rights poems. I may have never been a victim. I hear
voices all the time in my head. It has become my conscience. I write about social
conditions that effect society today. I can express myself this way.

You mentioned details about your family history. My family was one of the first
colonies in Mississippi to train their slaves. Papa Tommy worked for the civil
service and he developed an invention where to land planes on ships that saved
the us in war world II. My great grandfather was a founder of Vicksburg
Mississippi. My great grandfather was the chief of police in warren county
Mississippi while my great grandmother was the only doctor for warren county
Mississippi. My great grand aunt founded the girl scouts in Mississippi. My uncle
David was one of the men bailing hay when the young man was shot in Jackson
state university. Uncle David was one of the men near the senior citizens home
and rail tracks when that incident happened. My parents protested for civil rights
while in college. Papa Tommy met edger Evans and martin Luther king jar. Dad
went to a segregated university. I was said to be a leader in the community like
my dad.

My parents graduated from high school valicvictorian and college summa cum
laude. My mom graduated valicvictorian from junior high school. My mom was a
poker dealer.

Some people say I am the first to write like this in my generation.

I think these facts are accurate to the best of my knowledge. You will be sent a
graduation invitation in the mail.

Something else you should know. My mom father and grandmother and mom
were born in sweat man Mississippi. A town has now been built over sweat man.
Sweat man Mississippi was an Indian reservation. My mom is a descendent of
chaw taw Indian. It is where my great grandmother and grandfather grew up on

the reservation.

I read in a literature book where the under ground railroad was not just for slaves.
At the time Americans were accepting immigrants into the country through the
use of the Underground Railroad. I read in a literature book that Americans really
did not win the Revolutionary war. It was won by the English on a technicality.
The French helped American in the Revolutionary war. After the Revolutionary
war, the black Indian slaves were asked to protect the white man from raids from
the Muslims. There was an incident in Texas where the Muslims wanted whites
as slaves. It is apart of history. I read in a literature book where the women were
afraid to expose their toes. Royalty could tell the difference from slave toes and
royalty toes. I read in a literature book that blacks were known as slaves in this
country, only to realize there were slaves all around the world whenever a
country was taken over. White people were indentured servants in other
countries. There were some whites as slaves in America. There was a
division from poor white and blacks than the elite. I read in literature books there
were navel officers in American immigrant ships and black soldiers who knew
how to read and write during slavery. Othello was a slave and in the military. I
read that the Civil Rights Movement were not just for blacks in that it affected the
poor whites, handicapped and other minorities to civil liberties. While making of
the constitution, they were deciding to let go of slaves before the Revolutionary
war were over. Lincoln had concubine kids with his slaves. The slaves were
branded like the Jews during slavery. Like a cow if lost, could tell who he belongs
to. The mailto took logs of the slaves to know who would get pregnant keeping
track of black families. The whites knew whose family the slaves were related to
they kept track of it then. In the north, they had free slaves. Some of them were
educated and went to college during slavery. After slavery, blacks had their own
small towns they lived in. Whites wanted to educate them which came the jobs
that blacks could have to be educators, nurses in the like for within their own race
for their own race. The Jim Crow Laws happened during President Johnson term

of office which would exclude Blacks from public places and other things. Lincoln,
Johnson and Kennedy helped the blacks to have certain freedom liberties. Martin
Luther King Jr. speeches were some them written by white men. Life every voice
was written by a white man. The Harlem Renaissance is a group of black writers
who submerged from the Civil Right Movement. The black Indian race was
inhibited to resemble like the American Indians in America. There were no black
Indian races in the Apache tribe. The first black Indian on television in the 70's
was a slave to the Apache Indian tribe. The black Indian race is the only black
race born differently than African American race. It is the drop of black blood in
the black Indian race. Chicago was an all black town was burned down. In
Florida, was a black town the had white pursing that was taken over due to a
white women raped by a black man. Charles Drew discovered that everyone had
red blood. Public bathrooms were disclosed because of the thought of black’s
dirty germs. The Tuskegee men were blacks who were used for a medical
discovery. There is a lot about black history that is interesting. Did you know the
white people accepted into slavery are referred by the KKK the unforgotten race?
I got this information on the KKK web site. The KKK is a religion that traces back
to before Jesus was born. It started in America after the Civil War. I studied the 7
legions to be Cuba, Europe, Italy, England, Africa or maybe even China
according to their old maps. Paul is a derivative of China name. Jesus was a
Jew. Jesus was upper middle class. Some religions Jesus was also part
Hispanic. With the conflicting religions, the Bible may refer to outside religions or
outside races that they are against. I was sitting in church and I was listening the
homily or sermon and felt insulted by the reference to my race. Do you ever
watch television comedies and feel insulted with their joke innuendos? I find it
sad to watch BET and find shows about convicts all the time. That is how they
see black America. Some black comedies I do not laugh because of the
innuendos and stereotypes about my race. Some hip hop songs I find offensive
too. What do you think?
I was reading a book that told me at one time in China authority were to kill all
Choctaw Indian royal family before they escaped to America. I was reading a

book where the Choctaw Indians were slaves in Belize before they came to
America. The say that the Indians are immigrants from China. The clan has
different costumes to the different groups they are against, different from the
popular hooded sheets known for blacks. There are 150 legions to the KKK.
I grew up in a religious family. My grandfather and great grandfather were
deacons in the Baptist church. A deacon's role is to assist the preacher by giving
sermons and helping out in the community. My grandparents supported the
church. They witnessed crosses being burned at the church or when churches
were burned down. My parents protested in college during the Civil Rights ear.

Malcolm X father was Marcus Garvey and he was a slain preacher. Blacks lived
in villages that had a working community before the Jim Crow laws were enacted
in the 50's and 60's. In their community villages they had, schools, churches and
stores separate from the white community. It is surprising that some blacks think
we want to go back in history without knowing the consequences of what might
happen if we do.

My grandfather owned good farm land and was a share cropper while most
whites during this time period did this. My grandfather was in the military,
prepared to go to combat while at a time where blacks were only allowed in the
militate to be cooks and porters. My grandfather and great grandfather served in
the civil service which is uncommon for blacks whose ancestors were slaves to
do so at this time period. My grandmother went a segregated college, ran track
and got her masters degree which was uncommon for dark skin blacks in
Mississippi. My grandmother's brother played football at a segregated college
where at the time was uncommon for blacks to do. My great grandmother was
the only doctor in Warren County, Mississippi. My great grandfather was the only
chief of police in Warren County, Mississippi. This is uncommon for blacks during
the late 18th century for blacks which my family did at this time. My dad helped
desegregate Jackson State University.

One thing about basketball is that it gave the opportunity to some people who
were not Ivy League to play college ball. As seen on the movies to what some
people call thugs to play on court what they practiced in the ghetto that is
different than the rules played on regular. Some take that as an opportunity or a
dream.

My parents protested in the Civil Rights movement in college. They were

arrested during demonstrations. Dad help desegregate Jackson Mississippi
University. Uncle David was one of the men bailing hay that witnessed the
Jackson State University shooting of the young black man by the National Guard.
Uncle David was one of the men who were by the nursing home and the railroad
tracks who witnessed what happened. In college I would joke that I was an equal
rights F student going through what I did in college. You know what I mean. Dad
has done other things for Civil Rights as well. My great grandfather who was
chief of police in Vicksburg, Mississippi, along with his nephew his deputy had
that going on with the KKK in Civil Rights. My grandmother relatives at her
funeral on display shown they were the first to school and educate slaves from
England slave foundation in that part of Mississippi. My great grand aunt was the
first to start the girl scouts in Mississippi. Mamma Francis was the person who
talked to the principal in Alcorn University in Civil Rights what went on then. Do
you remember any of this going on? I found out some of these reading books.
Aunt Camellia claims her great grandfather was a founder of Vicksburg,
Mississippi. Dad was a founder of the college. There is history in the making in
my family.

Let me introduce you to my small world. I grew up in the seventies, in a poor
neighborhood, in the ghetto where poverty prevailed. It is where dreams meant to
either be teachers, cleaning ladies or trash men or to be imprisoned or homeless
one generation after the next. I attended a parochial school in North Las Vegas.
My parents worked two jobs to make ends meet. I adapted to gang violence in
the streets. Where shooting and drive bys were common. Gangs would hang out
at the schools drinking 8 balls, throwing broken bottles as I passed by. Young
gang member’s would respect older ones while they hosted neighborhood
meetings. The cutest gang member would be the straight A students who would
go on to professional athletes who dealt drugs. It is where clubs would be shot up
after each week. Some neighbor’s mentality meant to do roguish things like
trashing street signs and writing gang graffiti on walls to mark their territory.
Teens hung out in groups to watch the streets smoking weed until driven off by
police officers. It is where there was a Conner liquor store and church could be
found on every corner. Where gangs were not invited in the church and the store
owner knew its neighborhood kids that shopped there often and would not dare
rob the store. Throughout the year, boys played on the basketball court training
future stars as girls watched the boys play hoping to catch one. There were
street drill teams thinking of rebuttal routines for competitions. Prostitution was
elevated until they got pregnant to trap a man to marry them. Girls knew who as
kids who they would marry, how many children they would have, what kind of car
they would drive, what type of house they would live in and knew imagined
impoverished career they would work. Block parties would go on every summer
where anyone could go to their block neighborhood parties or hang out at the
park block parties. Kids would have water balloon fights at the end of the school
year. Neighbors would sit out playing loud music, while playing dominoes and
young girls braided hair while talking girl talk. It was a time where everyone
would support one another prone to peace when we were all one family.
