A Detailed Lesson Plan in English Grade 8

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
A. Differentiate the other propaganda devices
B. Reflect on the significance of recognizing propaganda devices as a consumer and a student
C. Construct a table that shows a product’s advertisement by using propaganda and by telling the
whole truth.

1. What is propaganda “It is a form of communication that is aimed at


influencing the attitude of a community toward some
cause or position by presenting only one side of the
argument.”

2. What are the other propaganda devices? 1. Card Stacking – The strategy of showing the

speaker.

V. Assignment

A. Choose your favorite product – for example, shampoos, shoes. Advertise it by using any of the
propaganda devices and by telling the whole truth. That will look like this:
