    The Watertown Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 825 Academy St. A small grease fire on the stove in the upstairs apartment had extended slightly to the range hood and cabinets. Fire crews extinguished the fire and ventilated the smoke from the building. Three occupants suffered smoke inhalation, with two treated on scene and one transported to the hospital.     Location: 825 Academy St., Upper apartment

    Companies Responding: Engine 1, Engine 2, Engine 3, Truck 1 and Chief 3

    Owner: Neighbors of Watertown

    Companies responded to 825 Academy St in the City of Watertown, at 1346 hours for
    a reported structure fire. First arriving companies found a small grease fire on the
    stove in Apartment 2 on the 2nd floor. Fire had slightly extended to the range hood and
    cabinets above the stove. Fire was extinguished and smoke was ventilated from the
    building.
    3 occupants of the apartment suffered smoke inhalation, 2 occupants were treated on
    scene by WFD personnel and Guilfoyle and refused transport. 1 occupant was
    transported to Samaritan Medical center by Guilfoyle Ambulance. Building was turned
    over to Neighbors of Watertown and will be able to be re-occupied immediately.

    Cause: Unattended cooking
