It’s been a great start to the
year...! It started slow, but it
started.
After Christmas break, I vis-
ited my parents in England for
three weeks and I also got to
meet some of my old friends
there. It was good catching up
with people and also spend-
ing some time at home after
having been away for so long.
But now I’m back in León and
fully caught up to my routine.
And it seems like I’ve come
back with a fresh pair of eyes.

‘Caballeros de Cristo’—
‘Knights of Christ’
Myself and two of my team-
mates have started a spiritual
discipling and nurturing class
called ‘Knights of Christ’ for the
young men of our congrega-
tion. We would like these
young guys to recognize and
take hold of the responsibility
that God has given to men as
the spiritual leaders of His chil-
dren.
We have a lot to learn together
so please pray for these young
men and for us that God may
work His will through and for
us and that he may mould us
2011
Church Plant
It is exciting times now as we
have started a new church
plant here in a suburb of
León. A couple of families
from the León Sur congrega-
tion who live in that part of
town will be at the forefront
of this plant. My teammate
Chris will be working with
them full-time and I will also
be helping from time to time.
Please pray for this new
plant to take root, grow and
develop and produce more
fruit in God’s kingdom.

Another two bid Farewell...

Ramiro and Ivanka, two of my teammates from the team of
2008 have finished their time here in León. Ramiro left back
for the States in the last week of February and Ivanka left
yesterday. They were the last two remaining team members
of the 2008 team and their class will be graduating in Lub- Ivanka Chalco

Please keep both of them and their class in your prayers as
they transition back home from their mission field time that
the Lord may lead and guide them, to accomplish His will

Guadalajara
I accompanied my co-ordinator and his family to his home-
town of Zapopan, a city that makes up the Guadalajara me-
tropolis in Jalisco state. We stayed at his parents’ house two
nights and on Sunday morning Omar (my co-ordinator) gave
the sermon at the local congregation. He presented his trip
to India as well and then we had a question and answer ses-
sion.
We came back to León on Sunday evening. It was a good trip
as I got to see the church there, spend time with Omar’s par-
ents and also see the city of Guadalajara.

Rancho Avalancha 2011

This year’s Rancho Avalancha VBS is proposed to be held in Upcoming Events

progress. Please be praying for this VBS that we may receive
the necessary funding to go and bless the lives of many chil-
dren.
Last year’s VBS in Chetumal was a great experience and I am
looking forward to this year’s one as I now can converse in
Spanish fluently. This will help me be more productive.

World Rally Championship 2011—León, México

The annual WRC came to León this year, León being
the only place in all of North America to host the
event..how cool!
Chris and I went to the state capital Guanajuato (about
45 minutes from here) for the ceremonial start and it
was a spectacle to watch! Sebastien Loeb won this
year’s León rally as well as the last four years’.
