Remove wheel
First, disconnect the battery (negative first) dismantle the airbag:
To do this, loosen the side screws (left and right holes of the flywheel housing
), with a Torx 30, tried by all means that the screws are completely disengaged,
and with their heads lifted completely, but so the airbag is not is released.
Step by step:
1. Loosen the screws 1, the wheel side with a magnetized screwdriver, the kind o
f nibs, and I put a T30 Torx.
2. when they are loose the two, still get the airbag, you have to stick around a
nd guide the screwdriver handle to the dash slightly, stick around, stick around
, bend a little bit to the dashboard without leaving the screwdriver , pull the
airbag from its top edge and try to bring the airbag to the screw that and then
we turn away until finally the airbag out of that side.
What happens is that the screws are impelled to the thread by a plastic pin a
nd if it does not entirely at least one of the two screws the airbag is not rele
ased.
Once we get the airbag unplugged the yellow caps lifting with a small screwdr
iver and pulling the connectors come in two colors and not misleading.
Save the airbag in a wood or plastic, not metal, put on tables or anywhere st
atic electricity.

Pull off
Loosen the flywheel nut with a wrench, 19 mm.
Here you can see the screws on the airbag, the manner in which they are the air
bag would not.
By entering an upper window electric reel cables in the doorway of the wheel.
The steering wheel removed.
Once you unplug the cable connector of the radio and horn electric reel can tak
e the wheel.
The electric reel and the wheel support docking a single position, but be caref
ul, that could roll around and break a lot inside, so the best thing is to block
just after a piece of tape to prevent random spins (within two photos).
In this space will stay the Cruiser, (just below the right keypad)
Look at the screws on the airbag, have eyelashes that keep slipping off the hea
ds of your site, this makes removing the airbag.

After removing the wheel, we are looking at the electric reel, its only functio
n is to ensure good contact of each cable in spite of the three turns of the ste
ering wheel
The yellow wires are the airbag, and the top black port (12 pins) is for the ot
her cables.
Below and have unplugged the connectors that come from the column and reach the
lower part reel, also for the airbag yellow and white is equal to that in the wh
eel, only this is on the other side of the reel.
On the left is blocking brown tape reel.
Remove the wheel
8 th Place in a table, remove two torx screws 20 (smaller than the other) that
hold the steering wheel to the chassis ass for the top (not to be confused with
the screws on the keypads)
9 ° turn around the wheel, put it upside down and look at his backhand two holes
at the bottom of these holes there are two arrowheads plastic are two supports o
f a cable-tape keypads, you take a relevant tool (I took a hexagonal screwdriver
, like a key L "Allen" but with a comfortable handle), and to this end as flat a
rrowheads pushed until they come out of their holes, (you have to push firmly bu
t carefully, because under a cable-tape and if we give it a stab "I fucked" so n
o plans to use screwdrivers or cross). Then we just have to remove lashes lower
arms hugging the steering wheel and the housing we already have on hand.

where you insert cruiser cables, position 8 and 9
Holding the throttle driving
Attach it to the horn plate, it seems the easiest way.
Photo with the wheel on a table (it is understood that upside down) and Corolla
control installed. Holes themselves two used 6.5 and 2 screws (with as little
head as possible) and their corresponding nuts to hold the knob at the wheel.
This is the same photo as above without the legend.

dremel, so that the edges are 'polished'. To plug hole, put black leather or r
