1. J’ai un perroquet vert qui s’appelle Max. Il est mignon.

I have a green parrot called/who is called/named/whose name is Max. He

is cute.

2. Nous n’avons pas d’animal domestique.

We don’t have a pet.

3. Est-ce que vous avez un animal domestique?

Do you (plural or formal) have a pet?

4. Elle a un petit chien brun et blanc qui s’appelle Raul. Il n’est pas méchant.

She has a small, brown and white dog called/named/whose name is/who

is called Raul. He isn’t mean/nasty.

5. Ma souris s’appelle Suzette. Elle est grise et grosse.

My mouse is called Suzette. She is grey and fat.

6. Ma grand-mère adore les oiseaux. Elle a un perroquet, une perruche et un canari.

My grandmother loves birds. She has a parrot, a budgie and a canary.

7. Quelle est la différence entre (between) un hamster et un cochon d’Inde ??

What is the difference between a hamster and a guinea pig??

8. Ma sœur a un lapin qui s’appelle Bunny. Il a trois ans. Il est énorme mais (but)

aimable.

He is 3 years old. He is enormous but friendly/likeable.
