Staff Spotlight
Greetings Artists! I’m Marcie Kronwall (or Mrs. K. as many students call
me) and I love being the art teacher at Ponderosa. I’ve been teaching art all
over Thompson School District for the last four years and I’m thrilled to fi-
nally have a school and an art room to call home.

I have a great husband and three terrific, grown children.

When I’m not teaching, I’m an actress! I’ve performed in
many plays in Fort Collins and Loveland.

In the art room we celebrated artistic thinking and enjoy working hard and
having fun creating art. Making art allows us to think critically, express our

ideas in many ways and better understand the world around us. I’m proud of Art Teacher
the artists at Ponderosa.

Being Honored!

These Ponderosa artists will be represented at this year’s art show, Lyrical Lines at
the Loveland Museum/Gallery. The art show runs from February 26-April 10 and fea-
tures student art from Thompson School District. The ARTSTEPS exhibit will feature
two and three-dimensional works of art from the areas of photography, jewelry, weav-
ing, quilting/sewing, ceramics, sculpture, painting and drawing.

This community-wide event offers primary and secondary students

from the Thompson School District the privilege of displaying their
work at Loveland Museum/Gallery. Join us to support the youth art-
istry of the community!
