What is Graduated Art?

Graduated Art classes are classes for adults aged 18 and up. While there are often many art
opportunities for youth in our community, there is a gap in art programming for adults and
particularly, adults with special needs. We at VSA want to fill that need through providing
quality art programming for all adults. These classes offer opportunities for creating com-
munity, artistic education, confidence building, and self expression. Each year we offer visu-
al art classes, an opportunity to sing in choir, as well as an ever-changing specialty course.

Get your Paint On
Introductory painting class on Mondays from 6:30-7:30pm for 7 weeks, April 11-May 23. Classes meet at the VSA
Offices, 1140 Monroe, NW; Suite 4104. Cost is $60.00 or $110.00 if signing up for both painting & theatre class.
Introducing….Theatre!
Introductory theatre class on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00pm for 7 weeks beginning April 12-May 31 (no class on May 17).
Classes meet at the VSA Offices, 1140 Monroe, NW; Suite 4104. Cost is $60.00 or $110.00 if signing up for both
painting & theatre class.

VSA encourages participants to bring an assistant if necessary for meaningful participation in class. There is no cost for
assistants. Please note that we will not provide art supplies for assistant as the purpose of the assistant is to help the
