Course Description
Drafting II is an advanced course in computeraided drafting. Students will learn to use the advanced commands
in the latest version of AutoCAD to do threedimensional drawing.
Career/Vocational Standards
1. Resources. Students effectively manage time, money, materials, facilities, and human resources.
2. Interpersonal Skills. Students acquire and demonstrate interpersonal skills necessary to be successful in
the workplace.
3. Information. Students acquire and use workplace information.
4. Systems. Students demonstrate an understanding of how social, organizational and technological systems
work.
5. Technology. Students demonstrate the ability to use a variety of workplace technologies.
6. Careers. Students develop skills in career planning and workplace readiness.
Performance Standard
Eleventh grade students at the proficient performance level will:
1. Analyze with minimal guidance, personal financial information and workplace resources.
2. Effectively demonstrate the ability to use interpersonal communication skills as needed to be successful
in the workplace.
3. Effectively acquire and use workplace information.
4. Effectively evaluate and analyze how social, organizational and technological systems function in the
workplace, and modify existing systems to improve performance.
5. Consistently and with limited assistance, demonstrate the safe and ethical use of appropriate workplace
technology.
6. With minimal guidance, demonstrate skills in career planning and workplace readiness.
